Muslim run countries do not have peace, or democracy. They are all a throwback to the most primitive aspects of man.

No surprise that a member of the radical far right like you hates democracy. This while openly supporting Jihadists in their terrorism against the Teheran government.

In fact, as the headlines frequently mention, the 'right wing radical hatred and bigotry' comes from Muslims.

Like you do with Israel but instead prefer an Islamic theocracy.

this is how your heroes in the Jihadi terrorist groups got their money:

History clearly shows that America's enemies in the Republican party financed Marx, Bolsheviks, Hitler, al-Qaeda, and ISIS. Now they are financing Jihadi terrorists in Iran.

Ronald Reagan and John McCain forced Muslims to become terrorists? That's amazing.

And Muslims are murdering Gays, Christians, Jews, and raping children, because of Ronald Reagan.

Yeah, there are thousands upon thousands of WMD's scattered all over the Iraqi desert and "Operation TP Ajax" was merely a figment of my imagination. But then, you seem to either ignore the basis of my response to AlifQadr's statement or you are unfamiliar with the term "terrorism" so perhaps I ought to forgive your utterly absurd reply to a subject you know nothing about.

Right wingers know virtually nothing about what's going on in the ME. Their heroes in the Republican party along with other neoKKKons are hellbent on destroying the USA and they are determined to help those traitors.

I agree that we need Iran to remain an island of stability in the ME right now. However, a Sunni regime is unlikely to gain power in Iran. It nearly happened in Syria because it was a majority Sunni country ruled by an alawite shiite dictator. Iran is another case entirely. Just like Syria is completely different from Iraq: one was stable if brutal, whereas the other lost control and lost support of its people. In part because it was gunning them down and torturing them, causing mass defections among their own military.

I generally support ramping down our presence in the Middle East, but I hate how everyone paints the entire region with a broad brush.

I am pleased that you use the term "regime change" ..... an American Red Herring term for what intelligent people know as "a coup" (good to see you have included the true meaning as well).

1). Once upon a time, there was a nation called "Iran" which was fundamentally a modern term for the culturally rich "Persia". Anyway, Iran was a Democratic nation that shown a light across the whole region. Then one day the pseudo-Democratic, totally culturally-void nation of the United States decided it wanted to get its grubby hands on Iran's best natural resource of oil with a promise (a promise it did not keep) to share the spoils with the United Kingdom of Britain. So the American CIA went into Iran with a million dollars to overthrow (you know, conduct a political coup) the Democratic nation of Iran by destroying its Democracy and replacing it with a Dictatorship of its own making. Enter the black-hearted American puppet called the Shah. A REGIME CHANGE - A COUP, not by a dissatisfied indigenous population, but by a foreign government from across the other side of the globe. It was called "Operation TP Ajax" and the year was 1953.

2). By 1979, however, the inhabitants of Iran had had enough communal-political destitution and summary executions of its young so they staged a coup of their own and took back their nation from the United States. It was called the "Islamic Revolution" and the year was 1979.

3). So here we are, summer of 2018 and the US is itchy to get its hands on Iran's oil again by the means of ..... another coup, what the dumbed-down sheeple are calling "regime change".

What is this crap that the US thinks it is their right to decide what government ought to run every nation of the world? And is it mere chance that those nations are rich in some natural resource or are instrumental in that resource being transported to ..... wait for it ..... the US? Yeah, it's probably just a coincidence.

I think what the US needs is a regime change and I am not talking about replacing republican PARTY-democratic PARTY or democratic PARTY-republican PARTY. I am talking about DEMOCRACY. Real DEMOCRACY. True DEMOCRACY. Text-book DEMOCRACY.

The US doesn’t need Iranian oil.
That’s just a made up excuse many America haters use to spread their misguided reasonings for America’s actions.
If the US was looking for oil in that region, do you think Iraq would get to keep its oil fields?

Apartheid and democracy are irreconciliable. They mix about as well as mayonnaise and ice cream.
