One battle is not the whole history of the spread of Islam.

Yeah, massive army and navy conquest is just humble Muslims plying their trade. I get what you are saying, since their trade was Jihad.

Ignore history and you will learn nothing.

Yes ignoring history only makes one look ignorant. Pssst the same things you claim about the acts of Islam where also committed by good Christians. There are no religions without sin and blood on its hands.

There is also no 1300 year history of Jihad in Christianity. Nice try but moral relativism excusing the historic terrorism of Islam which goes on today just doesn't work.

BTW, the Crusades were all about opening a path to Jerusalem, previously Christian and conquered by Muslims. Were there excesses? There always are in war.

Christians have been fighting wars since the founding of the church which is older than Islam, nice try but you missed by a mile.

Jerusalem has been under Muslim rule as long as Christian and Jewish and Christians were living in the ME under the Muslims and doing fine. The crusades were pushed by the church and it was not simply about opening a path to Jerusalem it was about taking control of the region, plunder, glory. Access like sacking and raping a Christian city that did not want or trust the Crusaders within their walls for good reasons. You really should do more reading in real history books and learn more on the topic before attempting to discuss the topic.

Another FAIL. Read some history. The only almost successful Crusade was the first because they reached Jerusalem. Succeeding attempts failed to get that far. The City of Jerusalem held a Holy significance to the Christian religion. Muslims captured Jerusalem in 637 during the Siege of Jerusalem. The Muslim conquest of the city solidified the Arab control over Palestine, control which would not again be threatened until the First Crusade in the late 11th century.

Wrong about what? What I stated was 100% accurate. Pssst I own and have more history books that you have probably ever been exposed to. That said, the Crusaders not being successful does not change what they did in the ME, your logic is a total failure.

You certainly change why, which means you must have a liberal education.

What is a Liberal Education? I grew up many decades ago and in Texas, me thinks you have no idea about what you are trying to claim.

Ah, back when Jews were hated for killing Christ and Texans were hated for killing Kennedy. You should do some reading and get up to date.

I have no idea what you are rambling about, I never hated Jews for anything and it is not my problem that morons blame Texans as those that killed Kennedy. Seems like it is you that needs to get back in touch with reality.

LOL, memory is such a problem. You claim to have been raised in Texas decades ago yet have no concept of the context of what I am talking about, which you should, and have no clue what the Crusades tried to accomplish.

I do not claim anything, it is simply a fact something you seem to have some problems with, why does that not come as a surprise.

I have no problem understanding that you both don't understand the social makeup of Texas decades ago or the fact that you don't understand the premise of the Crusades.

Actually you once again prove you know nothing about either when it comes to the facts or reality. Thanks for playing.

And Palestinians continue to resist at the cost of their future generations becoming sick and twisted humans in hopes of accomplishing what?

And with zero likelihood of success.

It is a shame and a crime against their children's futures.

    :(

The problem with your contention is that no one suffered from the shutdown.

Gov't. shutdowns are kinda like Y2K fears.

    Much ado about nothing.

    They are pretty frequent occurrences.

Welfare checks and SSI checks went out.

Law Enforcement was on the job.

    Essential services continued.

    The Armed Forces got paid.

I heard Rush (IIRC) say there is a greater cessation of governmental functions EVERY WEEKEND than was suffered as a result of the shutdown ATTRIBUTED to Cruz.

And the truth is that Cruz DIDN'T cause the shut down.

Let's see you argue with Thomas Sowell and the Congressional Record:

These liberals are suffering from battered wives syndrome.

Islam is violence and hate. They see the truth, but won't admit it out of fear.
