Really, what jobs do illegal immigrants take from black folks. Give me some specifics.

 

We have had protesting and rioting over the years in our country and of course that is never pleasant and it can be and has been dangerous. We had the the bonus matches and Veteran bonus shanties in DC in the 1930's. During the Civil War we had anti draft riots in New York City. Speaking of the Civil War we had the deadliest and the Mother of all Protests and riots started by Southerners.

The fifties were calm except for some none violent civil rights protests.

I need to ask Laura is she pining for those KKK marches and cross burnings of the 1920's 30's, 40'sand 50's. So sad to see that part of Americana almost lost to our culture. I have to fight back tears just thinking of the loss of those lynchings. My God why bother growing trees if me do not use trees to lynch a Negroe or two on Friday night. Friday night football just does not do it for me.

I do not approve of the Black Pride sentiment and I find it silly as all hell for either a Black African or a White European to express pride in something that they had no control over. Did I or any other White European have a say before we were conceived to select our race or ethnic origin? No! Can we choose where we are born ? No!
Does anyone who believes what Ingram believes that before I was an embryo that I decided to that I wanted to be born in a refugee camp so that I could start life with an uncertain future ? Later on I could be an immigrant and have a chance to be hated by Ingram.?

Lucky for me that there were more Congressional members after WWII who were supportive of the Displaced Person Act of 1948 than there were hateful turds such as Laura Ingram.

 

Roofers, house painters, construction workers, tree trimmers, building masonry, etc.
These are all jobs and professions that I saw lost to cheap illegal immigrant labor in the town I left in California. An entire class of worker
displaced here. But I guess you think black workers are magically immune to this kind of thing.

We may be having one hell of a fight over immigration fueled by the Thinking of Talking Turds such as Ingram and her ilk and we have our disagreements and problems here but when the dust settles I still believe that this is the greatest country on earth. She said "the America we know and love" is the one we had before the demographic changes to which she referred. She said that America doesn't exist anymore after the demographic changes to which she referred. What were these "demographic changes" that she so dislikes? They were the increases in the non-white population. She doesn't like that. She doesn't like the non-white population.

You can't honestly put lipstick on that. You can't hide it. It is what it is, and it is racism. No spinning can change that. All her supporters can do is to lamely assert that we white people (and others) who find that to be offensive and unacceptable racism, "hate whites". It's all KKK talk.

 

But let's be careful. What happens as "the greatest country on earth" slips, loses its standing, loses its lead, and other nations begin stepping into the void left behind, if it isn't an inclination to find ways to convince ourselves that this is still the greatest country on earth even as it all slips away? What happens if it isn't an increase in nationalism..... an empty, desperate nationalism? How does such a nation resist the temptation to use its remaining might to assert itself? How does it resist an inclination to war? How does it resist its own internal capacity for authoritarianism at home? How does it resist becoming totalitarian and a despot nation? The economic strength is fading, but we still have all those weapons and the technology and the propaganda. How does such a nation resist the urge to use them to force the world to "respect" us for our remaining power?
