The worst time for something like this to happen. And in a Minneapolis suburb no less. Who's right and wrong here:

Well! he had an outstanding Warrant, so obviously he had motivation not to cooperate with Police. Too! early to say if this shooting was justified, since we don't have all the facts, but we'll see what happens. I'm sure Target stores in the area are boarding up right now in anticipation of the Riot sale that usually ensues after a Black Person no matter how awful an individual he is gets shot by Police.

According to a statement from Brooklyn Center Police, officers stopped an individual shortly before 2 p.m. Sunday after determining the driver had an outstanding warrant. Police said when they tried to arrest the driver, the driver reentered the vehicle and drove away. An officer fired at the vehicle, striking the driver.

I wonder what charge the warrant was for?

Generally speaking, it does not seem that proper police procedure should allow shooting as a means to merely stop a suspect from escaping, especially if that suspect is not known to be armed & dangerous. We do not have enough information yet, to know if that was the case. To answer your question, we should know what the outstanding warrant was for, & what transpired between the officer & the suspect, prior to the escape & shooting.

If they're stupid enough to continue operating in the area then I guess they deserve whats coming. Policy was made crystal clear in these BLM terror fields; police will not function as police when 'protests' have been declared.

Whites proportionately commit less violent crime. Justified shoot if this guy posed a danger to members of the public by his driving.

Why is it some people feel they don't have to obey lawful police orders, and then climb on the nearest cross when something expected happens?

Maybe the question you should be asking is, "Why don't more Blacks obey police commands when they are ordered to do so...?"

Another excellent question might be, "Why do so many Blacks ignore the fact that they have warrants out for their arrest, and then have it turn into a big crisis when they finally have to confront the police...?" :spin:

    Exactly.

    Was it a Murder Warrant?
    Or unpaid traffic tickets?

Why would it matter? If the police give you a legal, proper command and order you to stand down and surrender yourself into their custody, YOU DO IT, or suffer the consequences.

It's all part of what is known as "CIVILIZED BEHAVIOR"....

BLM and ANTIFA are, at this moment, rioting looting and setting fires. CNN is calling it a protest. We need to have Merriam-Webster update the definition of protest.

after being shot, he got in his car and drove away?

I think it's pretty safe to say that he was being non-compliant

What that article doesn't say is that he was SHOT and that his girlfriend was sitting in the passenger seat during the entire episode????

So, you think the death penalty is appropriate for not obeying an order from the police?

Just watched the police news conference including the video. The contention is that the cop accidentally drew his weapon instead of his taser which he meant to draw and shot the driver one time after saying taser, taser. He had been stopped for an expired tag and also that the driver had a pending warrant for an undisclosed complaint or crime. The police are claiming it was an accidental firearm discharge instead of tasing.

The officer who shot the deceased was a female officer who is being discharged from the police force.

Certainly those in the community who heard there was a shooting so let's go break into to stores and steal stuff are in the wrong don't you agree?

From the body cam it certainly looks that way, the officer believe it was a TASER.

So is that cause to go and loot and damage private businesses?

No which was not the case here it appears so why do you pose it as a death penalty was applied? Do you think it appropriate to try and flee an arrest? Do you think it appropriate to use a TASER on a suspect. attempting to flee?

Seems not to be the case anymore, if the police are arresting you and you don't want to be arrested seems you have a right to say no and just leave these days.

The very worst thing the black citizens can do to hurt their cause in these situations is the rioting and looting and property damage. It only hurts them in every one of these situations. They also wind up hurting the communities they have to live in.

    True.

The looting is a horrible idea.

It is mostly organized criminals taking advantage of the situation to steal with impunity.

I would assume that EVERYONE would condemn the looting and property damage.

My mistake she has not been dismissed she is on administrative leave. I have no idea what a taser looks or feels like in comparison to a police revolver but i would think they do not look or feel like each other in either weight or appearance.
