And again I will ask why, if you believe that Iran is so hell-bent on the destruction of Israel, are Iranian Jews so well regarded that they enjoy protection from persecution under the Iranian Constitution, representation in the Iranian parliament, synagogues and Jewish schools? Iran also hosts the largest population of Jews in the region, outside of Israel.

And while we can have a respectful and reasonable conversation the issue of Israel always comes up, and never in a positive way. I think Iranian Monitor may have checked himself a little on that subject during his earlier postings but the message, and the underlying hatreds, eventually got through. Those ancient hatreds have 'got to be carefully taught' (from South Pacific).

However we can see he's an educated man and a good insight as to what many Iranians are thinking and feeling today.
