The problem and the crime was the violence. That's what was against the law. That's what the media was reporting. That's what the President was called to address.That's what he addressed. He wasn't called to address various groups and systems of bigotry and belief. But as for belief, both sides are condemnable. Black lives matter and Antifa are as despicable as Nazi's and the KKK. Actually no. The statue destroyed was that of Robert E Lee, who fought for the Democrats. The Democrats, to be consistent, will not only have to remove all statues relating to historical members of their party but to all those buildings named after Robert Byrd as well. They'll need to be re-named after Reagan, either Bush, Eisenhower, Nixon, etc.
