Obama Considering 'Executive Order' to Deal With Guns

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. In the National Guard (Army or Air)

So help me God.

Officers:
I, _____, having been appointed an officer in the Army of the United States, as indicated above in the grade of _____ do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter; So help me God." (DA Form 71, 1 August 1959, for officers.)

So in the oaths the constitution is first and officers are listed with president in line.

If the government attempts to circumvent the constitution then and military person that took the oath is obligated to stand against those orders.

 

Barack Obama refused to listen to John Boehner when Boehner said the US had a spending problem. Obama said the US had a healthcare problem. Implement Obamacare and everything will be 'hunkey dorey' John Boehner got the same response when he asked Barack Obama what did he get in return after putting 800 billion in new revenue on the table when Obama replied "You get nothing! I get that for free!" You'd almost think that Obama thinks he is Obewankenobe or somone like that. A Narcissist and a Jedi Knight to boot, Glory Hallellulia!
Now an Executive Order banning guns on top of all that previous bullpoop.
Gettin to feel and smell more like 1861 with every passing day.

 

Seems we keep tolerating more and more and lose more and more liberty and freedom.

 

And until we resolve to stand we will continue to fall more. After a point we will be slaves and nothing more.

Perhaps Gun owners should march on DC!

 

There is no way the military will help the socialist tyrant confiscate weapons from the American people, and there is no way this country's veterans will sit back and let it happen...

 

Well, the right wing (*)(*)(*)(*)s want to obsess of denying "undesirables" basic human rights, gay rights, abortion rights, etc. Alienating voters. Loosing votes.

And look, our sporting rifles may be banned do the lack of Republicans in the House and Senate.

Wouldn't be the first time that people with guns kill people without guns.

 

This country's military and veterans respect the US Constitution and the Second Amendment in particular. They will die before they violate their oath.

 

After Heller and McDonald, I doubt any law that defines a category of weapon based upon non-functional cosmetic features would survive scrutiny either, especially those that are currently "in common use for legal purposes".

People with guns kill people without guns. There is no reason to believe the statists in the military are somehow above killing us all.

 

If you knew as many active duty and vets as I did, you'd think otherwise. They love the Second Amendment and they aren't going to destroy it because some slime-ball from Chicago tells them to...

 

Yeah. Because soldiers never kill their countrymen.

 

Well you can't possibly speak for all soldiers , and fort hood was soldier killing fellow soldiers .. Lots of them . People can surprise you when the order is coming from the opposite end of a barrel .....didn't they do a study in our country about how easy it was to turn average joe into a tourture tool ?

 

Police officers kill innocent people too.

 

I have not yet decided if they require registration if I will comply or not. To not do so may mean I would be unable to go to the range, and I very much enjoy that. However, to do so may lead to them taking my weapon because they know exactly where to find it.

However, if our country is SO lost that it comes to random door to door searches without a legally obtained warrant, that is the moment I go from being a normal, everyday, white collar, law abiding citizen to an armed revolutionary soldier. It may result in my untimely death. So be it.

The men we revere as our founding fathers made the same decision more than two centuries ago. Had they lost, they would merely have gone into the history books as unknown, unnamed rebels who attempted to rise against the Crown who were summarily executed.

Soldiers love the 2nd Amendment? I note that is your supposed rebuttal to my point. Not that they value human life. Just because they love the 2nd Amendment.

I have many LEO friends. They have told me that if they were ordered to conduct such raids they would refuse. You may be over-estimating the number of people in this country who will roll over and be steamrolled by tyranny.

 

Patriotism is doing everything legally possible to collapse our pandering worthless government.

 

And you seriously believe that this government would order the military to go door to door to collect 300 million guns?

 

They would be forced into desk assignments or back at the county jail for inmate processsing or dismissed from the force and ordered to return thier *stylish* .223's to procurement ... no sweat.
