Obama Considering 'Executive Order' to Deal With Guns

Well the big problem you progressives do not have the resources, the ability, or the motivation to overcome the mass civil disobedience and possible insurrections that would result. You just don't.

American gun owners will never just voluntarily line up and hand their guns over to the government. They simply will refuse to cooperate regardless of the consequences.

You might get a tiny fraction of a minority to cooperate but the vast majority will simply ignore the State at best, or kill Government agents who try at worst.

Why progressives think that American gun owners will just give up their firearms voluntarily shows just how naive they really are. This country is full of rebels willing to fight, kill and possibly die. You don't have the balls to stomach all the deaths that will result.

BUT, I'm preparing for the worst. Families need a plan, within their own family...and be quiet about it; and a "loud" plan to put pressure on their representatives and Governors. Incase Obama does pull something like a dictator, we need to be one step ahead of him.

You keep thinking the Army is going to do it. It can't, it is illegal under posse comitatus. The COPS come, the FBI comes, ATF. These are LAW ENFORCEMENT ORGANIATIONS NOT MILITARY.

The army isn't coming. The Branch Davidians, the Weavers, they were just backwoods ppl and they held the government off for WEEKS.

You act like this hasn't happened before! We've already been through this and all it took was two failed government raids that involved the deaths of children and a terrorist bombing of a federal building and that was all it took.

We already beat government before, we can do it again.

Gun control advocates said the same thing in the early 90's and were shocked when a few backwoods rebels held off the government for weeks!

It doesn't take civil war. All it takes is a few over zealous raids by ATF and FBI and the public outrage will end your little dreams.

The funny thing is that this ban isn't going to happen. For one the dems in Congress will lose both houses just as they did in in 94. The 2nd reason is that the SC would shoot down any ban. Just as they did in Chicago and Wash. DC.

I'm not an atheist, but I too am pro-choice, not against same-sex marriage and I believe that evolution is a fact. So, we agree on all of these except I believe in God and you don't.

I agree on strict border security, but not 100% on the deportation of illegal aliens. I believe those who were brought here as children and have known no other country deserve the right to become citizens.

I'm not 100% for capital punishment, mostly because of the gross errors in justice that we have experienced. DA's that for political gain will send an innocent person to death. I believe some criminals deserve the death penalty, but I want to make 100% sure they committed the crime and are not just satisfying some eager DA's path to higher office.

Geez, maybe that's the problem, you have a sensual attitude toward guns. I'm not against guns, I'm just against nuts who go postal every time the mention of gun control is mentioned. We've had too many tragedies, most of them with semi automatic weapons that do not belong in the hands of ordinary people.

This is exactly right. No one is seizing my guns and right to bear arms. There will be a fight, and I may die, but that is the only way it goes down... and there are a million others just like me.
