The Demcocrats decared war on Russia when Clinton lost in 2016. Instead of taking responsibility for her incompetence she blamed Russia and the xenophobic media followed suit. This does NOT justify the invasion. But he played into the hands of the war party who have done everything in their power to provoke Russia.

If he got a conscription before it was announced, then maybe it was for another reason.

Anyway, I know that the West has been pushing Russia for a full conscription so that its industries would slow down, but Moscow refuses to succumb to the provocations. The men who are being called are only a little more than 1% of Russia's full military potential.
It would go over a lot worse if Putin stood by and didn't do anything about the killings and maiming of Russian civilians in Donetsk and Lugansk - including children. Besides he knows that the West wants a protracted war to destroy and grab Russia's wealth, so why not break up Ukraine before Zalensky get's the chance to kill off all his conscripts on the battlefield.

It wasn't before it was announced.

It was early this AM US time. It would have been late afternoon in Russia.

This guy wasn't one of the prisoners that Poot Daddy tried to use a couple of days ago.

They are conscripting people who have no regular training to be cannon fodder.

Ukraine would not need NATO troops just more jet fighters, bombers, more modern long range multiple missiles system, more anti air missiles, more modem smart artillery, more armor, more communications systems, more of modern weapon , and more drones.

Probably, but a full NATO force in Ukraine could bring the fighting to an end sooner and save a lot of lives in the long run.

There is no killing of Russians civilians. That is just fecal matter propaganda.
Russians are killing Ukrainian civilians including children and babas wearing babushkas. Putin’s criminals are the killers

Putin should try ton attack Poland through the Baltics so NATO could wipe out his aircraft , air defenses , missiles and armor. If the Russians use nukes they would be killing of themselves because of unintended consequences.

True but will not happen unless Russia attacks a NATO country.

Just curious... there was another thread about this Russian mobilization of 300,000 personnel earlier today -- and now that entire thread appears to have DISAPPEARED (along with one post from me). I double-checked to see if it had been 'melded' into this thread, or some other one, but couldn't find it or any part of it. Am I going nuts, or what? Usually, if a thread is removed for some reason, we who posted in it get some kind of notification...(?)

The mobilized “soldiers” will be the tactical vests for the primary troops. During WWII Russians drafted Siberians, Kazakhs, Buryats, Armenians and other non Russians and Stalin was so short of weapons the recruits were told to pick the weapon of a dead “comrade ” . Such nice people those Russkies are.

Funny how going off the petro dollar justifies invasions and regime changes, but 8 years of genocide towards civilians and children in Donetsk and Lugansk does not justify an invasion?

Had Biden felt it wouldn't justify and lead to the invasion of Ukraine that he and his handlers wanted, then he wouldn't have sent heavy arms to the demarcation line and increased the genocide of the people in Donetsk and Lugansk 30 fold.

Anyway all this talk means nothing. In a few days the people in Lugansk, Donetsk and maybe two other areas will vote to unite with Russia. Will this lead to a Nato equipped Ukrainian attack on the new Russian territories and possibly start WWIII? Who knows? What I do know is that at the beginning of October, all hell will break loose.

Russia will probably free Kharkov in 2 to 3 weeks, and then there's Odessa. As Ukraine falls apart, Hungary, and Romania will want freedom for their own people in Ukraine as well. As for the Russyns, they asked Russia if they could join them so who knows? This would leave only the Poles. Well, they can take Galacia with their city of Lviv, and figure out what to do with the Nazi militias.

I have seen posts and entire threads deleted by moderators before, but never 'hacked', per se. And, without exception, when there are moderator deletions, there is notice given that this has happened.

But, never 'hacking' by anyone, at least, not until now -- if that's what happened. I'm trying to remember who started the thread (it wasn't me), and several other people had posted in it, too. Weird!

You can bet your sweet ass that NATO troops are manning those HIMARS systems as well as the Pentagon is supplying real time satellite data....for all purposes. This is now a NATO v Russia war. It turned into a NATO v Russian contractors/LPR/DPR volunteers war a few months ago. It's changing again.

And you think the world would better served by Russia as a failed state? The World's largest nuclear stockpile in a disintegrating and fragmenting Russia, controlled by militias and warlords? No chance of proliferation problems there!

Why ignored? Also in 2014. West was against Russian invasion in Ukraine and turning of Donbas into gray zone of Mafia regime. So West was always against Russia aggression

I hope Russian bots will receive their conscript order too and get a chance to "liberate" Kyiv within 3 days not only with their tongues but in real action. :D

They wouldn't even need to do that. A week long air campaign co-ordinated with Ukraine and a 'no fly zone' over occupied Ukraine would render most Russian units combat ineffective. Hungry soldiers with minimal ammo don't fight well. Vehicles without fuel are not very effective.

NATO needn't set a single boot on Ukranian soil. The Ukranians can mop up.
