Realization Slaps Obama Voters in the Face - Finally

Now that Obamacare and the state exchanges are online and rolling out, people on both sides of the aisle are finally faced with the realization of the facts. The Affordable Care Act is NOT affordable, at all... and while some people with pre-existing conditions are seeing a drop in their costs, those without pre-existing conditions are seeing their costs skyrocket by thousands of dollars per year.

Yeah, why give us at least 6 weeks to see what Obamacare will actually look like, before we decide to fund it? Let's push it through now, now, NOW, so most people effected have no idea what to expect.

Tyrannical Obama is attempting to make Americans feel the pain, by closing things down that normally would not have been closed down in a government shutdown. He's closing the most arbitrary things, such as parks, memorials, video cameras, overlooks, etc... in an effort to make Americans feel the pain. This is akin to what 3rd world dictators do... and it's disgusting.

I just heard a guy on the radio this morning that literally broke down in tears, talking about how the police prevented him from scattering the ashes of his recently departed wife at an overlook in DC, where they spent time watching the Sun set.

Maybe most of you don't see this crap happening, but it's happening all over the DC Metro area. The Federal Government is literally outsourcing for guards/police officers to keep these things shut down. Officers from Fairfax and Alexandria are tasked with this duty. It's absolutely despicable.

Meanwhile, Obama keeps Camp David and his golf courses open, while forcing the Secret Service to work 12hr days without pay.

Obama should be impeached for derelict of duty.

 

As more of these Liberals get the "slap of reality" about their rates going through the roof and care going to the floor with Obamacare they will quickly change their tunes!

But people with no pre-existing conditions like Vinson, a 60-year-old retired teacher, and Waschura, a 52-year-old self-employed engineer, are making up the difference.

They've been dead silent on how many people have actually enrolled in Obamacare. Instead, they focus on how many hits the webpage gets. Is there any doubt, at all, that if a large number of people enrolled in Obamacare, they would be bragging about how many people signed up? The fact that they are silent speaks volumes. It's either their webpage is incredibly (*)(*)(*)(*)ed up and they don't know how many enrollments they got already (which is doubtful, considering they know how many people visited the webpage), or it's an embarrassingly low number. This whole house of cards collapses if not enough people sign up for it.

I have no doubt that many people visited the webpage, saw how much they'd have to pay for a (*)(*)(*)(*)ty health plan, and clicked the "back" button. I wonder what the Obama voters were thinking at that moment? That 95 dollar fine the first year won't seem so bad to them, but just wait til next year.

 

...and the beauty of this is that all of the Democrat Senators that have to run for re-election in 2014 have voted FOR ObamaTax.

"Senator, why did you vote for this terrible law?"

 

Geee....just dawning on some people how this is an economy killer eh? The economy will never really recover when the half that is supposed to be stimulating it through spending, doesn't have disposable income to spend.


Thanks Democrats, keep taking away tax breaks and adding new taxes...and then scratch your heads as to why we remain in the crapper.

It's so poetic that the people who voted for Obama and defended Obamacare are going to prefer the penalty for not signing up, and will only enroll once the penalty becomes large enough. At a time when people were out of work and our economy was in shambles, Obama felt it necessary blow his load on healthcare, and this is the end result.

Obamacare has already worked for my family for nearly three years now.

The GOP will cave in early next week. Obama may throw them a bone, but he doesn't have to.

Dead silent, is right. There's little chance of admitting failure here. Where are all the Democrats, especially on this forum? I'd expect that some of the people here would be jumping at the chance to sign up. But I've yet to hear of anyone's personal experiences here.

Correction: I've now heard of someone's personal experience with Obamacare for 3yrs, despite the exchange only being open for a week.

 

Nice when you get a slap to wake you up to see the light.

1. Seems the vast majority of small business is exempt from obamacare. - nothing to see there
2. Of the remaining businesses the vast majority already offer group insurance to their employees - nothing to see there either.
3. Despite "job killing" lies, companies like Disney and Walmart are "promoting" their part time employees to full time to provide them with health care - go figure
4. For those with private plans, a very small percentage will see an increase. Most will not, despite the anecdotal "evidence" the right is waving about.
5. Not a death panel to be found.
6. Seems the right (a congressional minority) doesn't want to honor the constitution and after failing 40 times to defund a legally constituted federal law have resorted to extortion and hurting the both their country and their fellow citizens with absolutely no regard.

How about when the IRS takes their fine from their tax refund, bank account, or wherever? Of course, that presumes they have a source of income. Maybe it can be taken from SNAP, welfare, WIC, Section 8, Medicaid, or whatever their source of living is...........

The law required states to set up exchanges for "high risk" patients three years ago. These are people with pre existing conditions.

My wife is insured in this exchange. Her premium is $315 per month. She was denied coverage by two private firms, and quoted rates that were two to three times the exchange amount.

 

Yes, it's all well and good until the collection plate shows up in front of you. Then the novelty of voting away other people's money to pay for programs you like wears off, and reality hits home.

 

It's bigger than $200 million. That's just what they put into their front Americans for Prosperity. They've spread an entire billion around the right wing noise machine.
