I wasn't completely honest about the gas lines in the regard that I loved them I lived in a smaller town south of San Jose and my pops bought me a tricked out 56 ford half ton, and at that time vehicles retained their original plates and that truck happen to be registered as "Farm equipment" and was exempt from odd-even fill days

In 1973 every teen had a muscle cars and they were very thirty critters, long story short! I banked huge buying and reselling fuel for sometimes 3X the amount at the pumps, hated to see it end

I have appraised both homes and farms south of San Jose. So you missed the lines. What I did at the real estate office I managed was make a deal with the gas station on the same parcel as was the RE office where I parked my car in his station lot and he would use my keys to gas up the car.

The gas station owner did not force me to gas up on even or odd days.

Kids today can't afford today's muscle cars. Unless they can shell out 95 thousand for the Dodge Demon. Hopped up to 1000 hp the cost of that car Is unknown to me. I tried to learn if my high school pal was ever released from prison. I know he was convicted. Imagine moving out of Hillsborough north of San Jose to a Federal Prison.

Places in rural America are knocking the hell out of it under Trump.. I was at home depot couple days ago and out of the blue started checking out what people drive, I was hard pressed to find a truck, car or any transportation over 5 years old.. I was putting around town on my bike and counted at least 50+ new home starts in just one section of town. Help wanted signs everywhere you look, cement/asphalt trucks all over the place, bridge/interstate repairs and chain gangs busy everywhere..

I dunno, be unhappy that your God given right, but if you cant burry this political bullshit and hatred and find some silver lining then my friend I truly feel bad for you and this missed opportunity

 

Damn me, I appraised them until August 1997. I was so busy at the time with my mortgage firm and RE sales firm that I had to quit appraising. I made a ton of money appraising and hated to give it up. My legal liability on my staff appraisers was such it was a full time managing those people. My money was more lucrative on the loans. My holdings were in Alameda County.
