Arctic sea ice is declining, and the decline is accelerating. Greenland is losing ice mass, and the loss is accelerating. Antarctica is losing ice mass, and the loss is accelerating. What "list"? So far, you're oh-for-three. Or perhaps I should have said: three-for-three as a liar.

When temps don't rise 3C in 38 years you will be in big shock... Their calculations and models are useless until they can properly measure the heat output and change at from the core of the Earth and they can't. The recent changes in the magnetic field and increased seismic activity and volcanic action are signs of possible changes in the heating of the crust of the Earth and thus its oceans which transfer a lot of that heat to the surface.
If temps did rise 3° C in 38 years I would be shocked. The current rate of rise is about .17 C per decade. If that were true, then the oceans should be warming from the bottom up. They're not: the ocean surface is warming faster than the depths. So we know that the heat is coming from above, not from below.
Water is a thermal conductor and when you include the ocean currents into the mix you will not see much change in the temperature in the lower part of the Ocean. You will see most of the heat increases where the thermal restriction exists. Since air is a thermal insulator, you will see increased heat at the surface of the water where the air slows the heat transfer from the oceans.

Sorry, but thermodynamics forbids heat from flowing from a cold place to a warmer place. The surface is warmer because that's where the heat is coming from.
