    It may happen but the trend of history is against you. Get used to it. Ignorance, racism, misogyny and the other sins you fail to acknowledge are on the way out. It may be true that our system rewards racists and ignoramus voters for the short while but long term, you are one doomed SOB.

    Abortion was legal under the Anglo Saxon common law. Roe merely affirms that this was always true. See Blackstone and quickening. If you are a lawyer/law student you would know all this.

    After the study was released, Newsweek reported that the suicide death rate for farmers was more than double that of military veterans. This, however, could be an underestimate, as the data collected skipped several major agricultural states, including Iowa. Rosmann and other experts add that the farmer suicide rate might be higher, because an unknown number of farmers disguise their suicides as farm accidents.





    Significantly, farm suicides increased under Reagan who did all he could to destroy USA farms - ironically it is the farm belt that voted for him and for Trump!

    I was and I do. I also know that abortion was only legal as long as it was believed the baby was not alive until the period known as "quickening". Once medical technology advanced to the point where it became known that "quickening" only indicated the point at which the mother could feel the baby move, that it had been alive the whole time, abortion was tightly restricted from that point on. Nice try, but no. Abortion had been illegal since 1880 in the US, so Roe wasn't affirming anything, it was overturning 50 state and several federal laws at a stroke.

    Incorrect. As you have acknowledged, abortion was legal though restricted as per Blackstone. It was further restricted after 1880 under codified law. Roe (which was decided by a Republican majority as was Casey which affirmed it) merely set new legal contours as to its restrictions.

    Note that I am a pro lifer. Just attempting to set the record straight. But if you really want to end abortion you would endorse the safety valve programs that promote life in society. Ending or restricting those programs is what causes people to abort.
