    All of those corporations that OFFSHORED those jobs should have had ALL of their imported products TAXED at an amount EQUAL to the jobs that were lost.

    That is a load of bovine excrement because LAND has value which equates to wealth WITHOUT any type of business being involved.

    401'K's are a scam. But there is a big problem with defined benefits. They almost sunk our auto industry. Almost every state in this country is in deep debt with defined pensions. All of them are trying to dump them. New York is so far in debt with their defined pension plan, they had to borrow off the pension just to bring it up to the 80% the government requires to help protect their pension. California is the same way as far as debt. Cities and states are going broke trying to pay for them and all are trying to change them.

    As far as the rest goes that is corporate bovine excrement!

    All corporate regulations are SELF INFLICTED! They exist because a corporation did something that caused harm to We the People and/or the environment.

    Removing regulations enables corporations to do harm to us. Do you WANT another 2008 economic collapse because that is EXACTLY what happens when you do that.

    Why did we have the S&L crisis AFTER they were DEREGULATED?

    Why did we have the ENRON, worldcom, at al crisis AFTER those corporations were DEREGULATED?

    Why did we have the Wall Street Casino Mortgage Scam AFTER the financial industry was DEREGULATED?

    Those are UNDENIABLE FACTS but you prefer to believe the corporate bovine excrement instead.

    We encouraged them to leave. There was one year I was neither a Democrat or Republican and that was when Ross Perot ran against NAFTA. I knew he was right and it would suck jobs right out of the country. Then on top of that we made trade deals with China. How did that do for us? China at the time ran around with bikes and rickshaws. Today they are the biggest auto producer in the world and have a huge army and are trying to replace us as the world's biggest super power and our biggest threat.

    Defined pension plans are failing for the same reasons 401k's are a scam. The Wall Street Casino steals every cent they can from them.

    Since defined pensions are failing how about this alternative instead?

    We increase BOTH personal and corporate PAYROLL taxes for Social Security so that everyone who worked and earned 40 credits is entitled to a PENSION of DOUBLE the poverty rate. This will ensure that there is ALWAYS a fund of money that is OUTSIDE of the greedy grasp of the Wall Street Casino Bosses.

    Your harmed a lot more if you over regulate because you drive jobs away and people starve and can't pay their bills. Regulations have to be fair and not over done. You should read some of these regulations that the states and government put on business that cost them a fortune and kill jobs. I'll give you one example.

    Carter also signed a law that forbid Federal workers to strike over wages and hours. That law is what caused Reagan to fire all the Air Traffic Controllers that the Left also blames on Reagan and Republicans. Your getting quite an education my friend.     We are discussing OFFSHORING of jobs!

    And no, it was NOT Carter's idea to deregulate the airlines. That would have come from the Wall Street Casino BRIBING Congress to do their bidding. Yet another instance of corporate MISDIRECTION by blaming the guy who signed the bill as opposed to those who BENEFITED from the bill.

    FTR 10 years later the service on airlines sucked and Pan Am went belly up a couple of years later.

    And what I proposed is that a husband and wife get 26,000 a year tax free, 2 people at the fed poverty level) while having all their health care needs meet. And I don't know what you mean that 401 are a scam. I was able to save $300,000 by the time I retired last year and I was a single earner for 35 of our 39 years together. And in my office I was one of the workers with the less saved.

    And I don't blame general mills for my wife eating frosted flakes, she knows she is eating poison- I tell her that once a week. We are adults and shome on us for making bad choices, but they are the choices good or bad that we make.

    And corporations profits are paid to shareholders and I want the shareholders taxed at 33% on their individual income taxes. Just like the 33% that I want you and I to be taxed.
