    You simply don't know what you are talking about. Executive Privilege applies to the OFFICE. It also can only be exercised 'in what's the best interest of the country'. It does not protect the individual from crimes, fraud, for example. POTUS is not above the law. If that's the case, anything he does IS THE LAW.
    I'll leave it at that.

    Nobody claimed anything about being above the law, crimes, or fraud. lol

    If it only applied to the office then every recorded conversation or transcripted communication with president would be public information when he leaves office. I have no idea where the left comes up with all these bogus claims but a little reading on the SCOTUS might do you some good.
