Then I guess there's an awful lot of really really stupid followers of Islam right? They all are under the impression Allah has told them to kill every "non-believer" in the planet right?http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/quran/023-violence.htm
These last two seemed to be 'tuned-in' to what the koran demanded.

From the second this happened, I have been disgusted by those who, without so much as a care for the victims, have used it as a stick to bash their least favoured group.

It's no secret that I have no love for Zionist Jews.

Yet, even I never thought to act with such glee and hope, and why not? Because, for me, what really matters are the victims and their poor families.

Some on here should be ashamed of themselves.

None. Which part of this was an attack, carried about by islamists, are you struggling with?

    - - - Updated - - -

Sorry you can't blame Da JOOOZ....you deny the Holocaust, and then have the GALL to lecture others?

Acknowledging that this was ANOTHER islamist attack on American is disregarding the victims..HOW, EXACTLY?

    Ever try "LOGIC"?

I know you posted in jest, but it does raise an interesting question. What changed from Sept 2012 to now. Everyone interviewed, and not just family and friends, but school teachers for instance speak pretty highly of the younger boy, well adjusted, Americanized, had a bit of a reputation as a party dude..............and it ends like this

    - - - Updated - - -

FBI and Police have been interviewing the sister that lives in New Jersey for the last 2 hours. CNN has a camera camped outside with a reporter attached.

Pretty amazing in todays age that some still dont see it.

Heres a SMALL snippet on Islamic Extremists and their activities in 2012. The entire list for 2012 is far too large to post here...and thats just 2012.

Anyone trying to still pretend that theres nothing to see here is just being dishonest.

On the site, the younger Tsarnaev identifies himself as a 2011 graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, a public school in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

It says he went to primary school in Makhachkala, capital of Dagestan, a province in Russia that borders Chechnya, and lists his languages as English, Russian and Chechen.

His "World view" is listed as "Islam" and his "Personal priority" is "career and money".

It remains unclear at this time what the motive was behind the Boston Marathon bombing, and it is too early to tell if the brothers were radicalized in the United States or in Chechnya.

Police have told residents of Boston, Watertown and surrounding communities to stay inside. Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick (D) said there was a “massive manhunt” going on for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

“We believe this to be a terrorist,” Boston Police Commissioner Edward Davis told reporters, referring to Dzhokhar who evaded capture. “We believe this to be a man who’s come here to kill people. We need to get him in custody.”

    ...

A YouTube page belonging to Tamerlan is heavy on videos discussing Islam, including one railing against Harry Potter and another mentioning an Islamic prophecy frequently associated with Al Qaeda.

Tamerlan, a boxer who hoped to join the U.S. Olympic team, was also featured in a photo slideshow. “I don’t have a single American friend,” Tamerlan says in one of the photo captions. “I don’t understand them.”

The Boston Globe reported that Tamerlan had been a student at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston for three semesters from 2006 to 2008. CNN reported he was studying engineering.

Dzhokhar’s page on a Russian social media site says his worldview is “Islam.”

It looks like there's a fair chance that they acted out due to Islamist ideas, but so far no one can be sure (except for Grok and other such angry ideologues, that is).

We don't know if they have Al-Qaeda connections or not.

    They claimed to be.

Of course, it's also entirely possible that they were coerced while here by in-country operatives.

    On that, we agree.

Really, when there are so many of their clerics and upper level "religious" leaders openly calling for jihad and publicly calling on all muslims to kill the evil westerners?

Indeed, and of that 1 billion, how large of an outcry from them have we seen denouncing jihad and all that is going on by those who actually are committing the acts of terrorism in the name of Islam?

One person. We also have that freak Westboro group too, but do you see the difference in a couple of fringe preachers and large scale anti-American teachings across the globe by muslim leaders? It's very different when some members of the group are screwballs and when the very leadership of the entire organization are.

If I were the member of a group I would be willing to tolerate certain things I didn't agree with because there is no group that will have every practice or law that I 100% agree with. If, however that group was so far removed from what I believed in, I would NOT be a member of it. To claim I don't agree with my groups teachings and actions, especially if what they teach is so heinous, and then quietly continue to be a member, then what conclusion do you draw from that? Quiet complicity.

Older brother has a Christian babymama according to NPR who interviewed an Aunt...

Wonder if she was the woman they were looking for earlier today. We haven't heard abou her yet. I imagine she could answer a lot of questions.

This propaganda was expected, the same kind of propaganda as when 9/11 happened, connecting a religion to terrorism/terrorists while everytime individuals mastermind and execute the terror (can be any person or small group (not complete religions as a total), within and outside the system, foreign and domestic) The focus in this era/history is on Islam and Christianity (both are attacked, used by the media and politicians and revolutionaries/provocators)
People buy very easely into all the propaganda thrown at them by the system media (from CNN to Infowars) since 9/11.

Yes, 85% of American Muslims cast their votes for Obama. Not very right-wing of them.

A living Muslim domestic terrorist would be treated like a typical American criminal under the doctrine of the Obama admin. This would anger the American people. So, his death would be a break for the Obama admin. Plus, he wouldn't be able to proclaim his love for Allah and the Koran in court and claim to be a jihadist, while Obama's DoJ prosecutors stared at the floor, etc.

Chechen President Says American Upbringing to Blame

    http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/...me_718098.html

The Chechen president has apparently released a statement that blames the suspects' American upbringing for their alleged terrorist activity.

"Tragic events have taken place in Boston.
    A terrorist attack killed people.
We have already expressed our condolences to the people of the city and to the American people.

Today, the media reports, one Tsarnaev was killed as [police] tried to arrest him.
It would be appropriate if he was detained and investigated, and the circumstances and the extent of his guilt determined.
Apparently, the security services needed to calm down the society by any means necessary," says Chechen president Ramzan Kadyrov, according to BuzzFeed.

"Any attempt to draw a connection between Chechnya and Tsarnaevs — if they are guilty — is futile.
They were raised in the United States, and their attitudes and beliefs were formed there.
It is necessary to seek the roots of this evil in America.
The whole world must struggle against terrorism — that we know better than anyone else.

We hope for the recovery of all the victims, and we mourn with the Americans.

Maybe, though I've seen arguments that Islam only teaches a retaliatory, "eye for an eye" type of violence, not trying to wage war and conquer the world through violence. As with Christianity, it is a religion that is abused by certain leaders politically to start and sustain wars. Roman and Medieval Europe didn't become Christian through peace and love, you know.

Anyway, these two kids may have acted with religious ideals, or they may well have not. The fact that at least one of them expressed having a Muslim worldview is only suggestive of a possibility. It's far from being a declaration of Jihad.

It's hard to say for sure, isn't it? America certainly produces a lot of these angry terrorist types who decide to bomb a/o gun down their fellow Americans.

These two are clearly AQ cell members. Their social media postings make clear that they believe in the imposition of a global Islamic caliphate. It appears to be another Major Hassan-like incident, where the cell operates independently of the command structure. Hassan simply became radicalized through AQ social media and then acted out their directives to attack the west, I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case here.

Honest Americans with a modicum of intelligence wanted to do something crazy!! Wait for evidence. I know, I know you don't care for such inconveniences, but some of us feel it is important. I actually thought it was Chechen brothers from the beginning, but I didn't want to jump to conclusions.

Might it be the price of secularism? Might a segment of the population become so dangerous without religious conditioning?

Through social media, individuals can become heavily ensconced in the AQ nexus without even leaving their homes:
