There is no confirmed links to Chechen islamic terror groups or associated groups but it wouldn't exactly be a shocking revelation to hear someone had radicalised them considering what they just did. If that does turn out to be the case didn't the CIA support these groups once because they were against the soviets? Similar to how bin laden and al-qaida had beginnings in the Afghani mujahideen "freedom fighters" that fought against the soivet union. It makes me wonder if backing the muslim brotherhoood in N. Africa and Syria is such a great idea.

The internet was just flooded with Chechnyan Revolutionary slogans as soon at those bombs went off at the Marathon, it's just that nobody, not even you, saw them, and Boston was well known as a center of Chechnyan suppression. On the other hand, Moscow is famous for being the birthplace of the American revolution.
