Personally I don't find her attractive but thinking back to my HS days, whenI was 18 if she was responding to my advances and vice versa I would have hit it like god throwing down lightning strikes.

On the other hand I do agree that it is inappropriate because of school being in the mix. Howeverm how many times have hot 18-20 year old girls dated their college professor?

It's not really a liberal vs conservative issue to me, it's overall poor judgement when your hormones get the better of you. At least it's not another priest molesting young boys story.

 

Should we really get too upset with modern women being their modern selves in modern times?

OTHER than in the last few years, historically teachers having sex with 18 yo students was ROUTINE and was considered by many conservatives to be one of the "perks" of being a teacher.

As our consciousness and standards have RISEN, we NOW take a more critical view of the inherent manipulation of younger people trying to get an education (and not a sexual one) and possible exploitation inherent in the problems that can come from allowing student/teacher sexual relations, just as we do with doctor/patient sexual relations.

The fact that practice is considered a PROBLEM is because we have HIGHER morals, not lower. And these kinds of important, improved standards and protections for the less powerful from the predators in our society has been due to the "Leftist's" campaigns for a MORE moral and CIVILIZED society. If it was up to the Right, students still could earn "A"s on their knees under the teacher's desk after school and no one would "sully themselves" by talking about it, so the predators would never stop abusing their students.

Maybe an 19 yo student would like to have sex with a teacher. Well, the teacher will just have to wait or resign as the student's teacher, to avoid the inherent conflicts of interest and unfairness. Is a teacher REALLY going to give a BAD grade to the hot little honey that just "blew his mind"?

 

I wish our "morals" included better roads and aqueducts instead of merely extra-Constitutional, wars on abstractions that the wealthiest refuse to pay wartime tax rates for.
