    They do allow, 2011 court ruling held that precedent.

    What the schools had posted was in direct contradiction of that ruling.

    The decision is up to the college itself. According to this website:

    I know for a fact that UCC does not allow weapons inside of buildings. I do not know if they are banned on campus, though. UCC does not have any security officers to speak of.

    One report just out, shooter asks students to stand and declare their religion...From student Kortney Moore

    Moore said she saw her teacher get shot in the head, apparently after the gunman came into the classroom. At that point, Moore told the newspaper, the shooter ordered everyone to get on the ground. The shooter then asked people to stand up and state their religion and then started firing, Moore said..

    Can we just stop blaming guns. After all the gun didn't walk into that school and shoot. BTW it was GUNS that stopped this murderous rotter.

    Very unlikely since the NRA already has it's poster child, Eddie the Eagle.

    Also to be a NRA poster child you have to be a NRA member and felons, loons and commie types aren't allowed to join the NRA.

    NRA members aren't allowed to commit crimes using a gun. Something about being a nation of laws so they say. Liberals wouldn't understand.

    Interesting but not surprising of all of the mass shootings shooters, gang bangers, Islamist terrorist, thugs and BLM supporters who murder, none have ever been a member of the NRA.

    We knew the shooter in SC was white, when he killed all of those people in church. We knew the guy was white, in most of the other shootings at school, the same day in which the shooting happened.

    Since we know so little about this shooter, chances are, he was a radicalized muslim, which is why had asked religious affiliation. OR, he was one of those crazy atheists. If so, we would know he was by now.

    So, a radicalized muslim, which is why the media and the police are playing this so close to the vest.

    Place your bets now.

    Of course we could make it harder for mass killings, by keeping the 2nd amendment in place, but limiting firearms to the guns the founders had. Single shot black powder, flintlocks. The shooter could get one shot off, and before the cloud of black power smoke cleared, the rest of the potential victims, could beat him to death with his own single shot gun.

    You are misreading the ruling. They said that public colleges can not ban weapons on campus, but the court did say that they can ban weapons inside of buildings at the discretion of the college itself.

    All colleges in Oregon have elected to ban guns inside of buildings.

    This ruling only pertains to public colleges. Private colleges can ban weapons on campus.

    Wouldn't surprise me if the shooter or his parents were issued an Obama refuge visa or immigration visa.

    Under Obama, the issuing of visas to Muslims has doubled.

    I was born in Roseburg, Oregon, the town that Umpqua Community College is located. I have been to UCC several times in the last few years to do guest lectures as part of their surveying and geomatics program. The campus is almost exclusively white, rural and lower middle class. The community has been racked with high unemployment and was hit particulary hard by the downturn of the economy and by loss of timber revenue due to enviromental regulations. My heart and prayers go out to the victims.

    I phoned a friend of mine who was an instructor at UCC and the rumor on the ground (I fully acknowledge that this is merely a rumor and may be proven to be incorrect under the light of further investigation.) is that the shooter was shooting people who said they were Christians. There was also a rumor that he shot people who said they were aethiests. Who knows what is true? Why is one's belief, one way or the other, a reason for execution? What is wrong with people?

    Community colleges are primarily 2 year public colleges, that's why assumed it was a public school.

    I suggest you enter a classroom and tell people that you will take them as hostages. Make everyone get in one corner and then open fire.

    Make sure that there is no way that someone can disarm you as it it possible. I suggest you carry a knife on your belt as last resort if someone is holding your gun.

    You might want to target a girls school which is safer because there are no beta males throwing themselves for their rescue.

    Do not use a shotgun. I would suggest a powerful assault rifle and a pistol or 2x pistols. Possibly the type of pistols who have 15+ ammo

    It's interesting, this obsession some young men have over this notion of being "beta males" and blaming society at large. That one young shooter in California had very similar motivations, I think, wanting to strike at the popular kids, the girls who wouldn't date him and the boys who got those girls.

    I see a clear trend developing here, a clue to why some of these mass shootings are occurring. It would appear that the internet is helping bring these depressed would-be killer types together. I wonder how much sites like the one linked actually encourage these guys to do this? Clearly they have supporters.

    Apparently he is Mormon. Its been awhile since Mormons went on a murderous rampage but its not out of character for that bunch of loons. They killed entire families in the 1800s.
