There is no hypocrisy. Read slowly. The term "Pro-Choice" deals ONLY with abortion.

It is NOT a club or group with rules about how every member has to feel the same on every subject in the entire world and to think so would be STUPID.

    Address this :
""You: """But you cannot tell me that 500k + abortions per year in the US are in defense of a womans life due to medical reasons""

No, I cannot and will not since there is no reason to and I never did.....who ARE you posting about???

And the number of abortions has nothing at al to do with the number of firearm deaths ...WHERE are you getting this irrelevant crap? You want to argue about guns GO TO THE GUN FORUM."""

.......................... and a child becomes a child at birth....and that won't "degrade" into anything since it's law, science and fact.

Why should schools teach personal responsibility , definitely a parents job long before the kid goes to school , but not sex ed ?

You: ""As for forcing a woman to remain pregnant, no, but I think most women should be smart enough to buy some condoms so that she doesn't become pregnant.""

Maybe they should but some don't and no one has to. NO woman is obligated to use any form of birth control ....not even abortion....

..and what that has to do with your segue into "victim mentality" is anyone's guess....your posts ramble quite a bit...

Every pro-death argument is about telling those that oppose abortion to keep your feelings and opinions to yourself.

I read your source and it doesn't present any proof of animal homosexuality; just observations defined as homosexual behavior. The commentary about sexual orgies by marine animals was almost gleeful. Anyway, I'm through replying about animal homosexuality because it's an attempt to distract from the actual topic of abortion.

    birth control:
the practice of preventing unwanted pregnancies, typically by use of contraception.
Powered by OxfordDictionaries · © Oxford University Press

    www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/birth control
1: control of the number of children born especially by preventing or lessening the frequency of conception : contraception 2: contraceptive devices or preparations that prevent pregnancy from occurring.

    dictionary.reference.com/browse/birth-control?s=t
birth control - Planned interference with conception in order to control the number of offspring born.

    www.thefreedictionary.com/birth control
birth control n. 1. Voluntary prevention of conception by a man or a woman through the use of contraceptive techniques.

All definitions are about the same...abortion doesn't fit the definition, but it's being used as birth control.

Sounds a lot like slavery, doesn't it? "Just mind your own business and don't interfere with our way of life"

No, I am not pro death no matter how many times someone like you says it. You don't deal in facts , I do.

I am Pro-Choice...that means that I believe women have a choice to give birth or have an abortion.

You believe that YOU should decide law, morality, science, lifestyle, health decisions, financial decisions for other people...which is hilarious....and definitely not "Pro-Life".

The only life you seem to care about is yours and The Royal Sacred Fetus.

There is no "Pro-Death" argument and to keep saying there is doesn't add to your credibility.

If you are opposed to abortion you have every right to state your OPINION and FEELINGS.

If you want to legislate those feelings and opinions and impose them on others you will get resistance.

    Did you have a point?

So what if abortion is being used as birth control, it's a legal medical procedure......

There are so many contraceptive options now, a woman can make the risk of pregnancy as low as she wants it to be.
And if she absolutely refuses to accept any risk whatsoever she should keep her legs together.

I disagree sex education certainly is something that should be taught in schools, in fact it should be mandatory in ALL schools, it should not be subject to parents own whims when those whims can and do place children at risk, add to that-that it is proven that comprehensive sex education and free at source contraception reduces unintended pregnancy and abortion.

The biggest problem with condoms is the human error factor, made worse by schools not educating children on how to use them correctly, the typical use failure rate of condoms is 18%, even the various types of the pill have a typical use failure rate of 9%, where as contraception such as IUD's and hormonal implants have typical use failure rates of 1% or less ... the problem is that they are the most expensive and as such are priced out of reach of those who would benefit the most and even that is false economy, the cost of an IUD over it's lifetime is less than the cost of condoms over the same period - calculated using average figures for number of times the average person has sexual intercourse per year.

As to personal responsibility what could be more responsible than educating our children on sex and how to avoid pregnancy and/or STD's and enabling them to be educated enough to take responsibility for contraception should they decide to engage in a sexual relationship, telling them not to do it or to wait till marriage doesn't work, in fact it has never worked - that is not to say that message should not be encouraged, just not as the only message. It saddens me that even in 21st century America there are still teenage girls who truly believe they cannot get pregnant the first time they have sex.

And if a woman is absolutely sure she never wants to be pregnant, there is a medical procedure for that...

True, but yet again it is solely her choice, just as it yours.

Yes, and by choosing not to undergo the surgery, she is really saying "I want to have a baby".
So then it really becomes only a matter of when. Basically pro-lifers are not forcing pregnancy on women who make the choice never to become pregnant.

Every single woman does not choose to have a tubal ligation when she wishes to have no more children or none at all. She may feel she can trust contraception or she may be abstinent. Then things can change quite quickly. Oh, and BTW, tubal ligations can also fail.

Why do you think it is "reasonable" for government to get between a doctor and his/her patient? Why do you think government should be in the business of influencing a woman's private choice? Shouldn't the government remain neutral in private choices that do NOT affect society as a whole?

The man who caused the pregnancy is not a "father" until he has born children. If he has caused a pregnancy, he is "going to be" a father. A potential father must make his decision before the pregnancy has begun, after that, it is only the woman's body involved and she has the right to make all decisions about her body.

She didn't GET pregnant by herself, but now that she is pregnant, she IS pregnant by herself. It is her body, it is her future, and she alone is qualified to make the choice. If she is very very young, say under 15, she needs medical guidance as a pregnancy at that age is considered high risk.

It is not necessary to have "so many partners" to be unaware of who the potential father might be, it only requires two potential pregnancy-causers for the woman to be possibly unaware of which one is the lucky guy. Or unlucky.

Put on a wig and a dress and try to find a doctor who will agree to a tubal ligation when you have never had kids. Report back on how you made out.

Around $370 for an abortion at 10 weeks which is substantially less than an IUD at an average of $700. So the reality is that it is cheaper for a woman to get an abortion than it is for her to pay for a reliable contraceptive. What needs to be done is to make ALL contraception free at source, the amount of money this would save in relation to welfare payments is substantial.

Look to your own credibility; read your own posts. You're not advocating choice; every post you make is pro-abortion, from your list of the "horrors" of pregnancy to "abortion is killing, duh," to "nothing controls birth better than abortion." Abortion is legal and pretty much unstoppable but abortion pushers are tireless in their attacks on anyone who want to see people stop creating and destroying the unborn.

Pro-life legislation has been passed in the last five years and more legislation is being considered. With a pro-life president we could see more gains in restrictions on abortion.

Still, those who advocate snuffing out the life of an unborn child have little to fear.....the nation is much like yourself....quite comfortable with the annual slaughter of over a million living humans developing in the womb. We live in a hard-hearted and selfish society that doesn't take sexual responsibility or ending a life seriously and it's disgraceful.

Because they want to force their opinions on the rest of us. No woman should be forced to abort, but neither should any woman be forced to continue with an unwanted pregnancy.

Which is forcing your opinions on the rest of us.

I see it as respecting the rights of women's bodily autonomy.
