And you are right to do so. But, as an economist, I can assure you that if they are up on the Internet, they have already come under more scrutiny than ever before in history.

It's difficult to finagle the numbers on the Internet and get away with it ...

Interesting essay. Thanks for sharing it. The brief section on Obama was enlightening.

What a shocker. The press has been 99.9% negative since he got the nomination. Right out of the Saul Alinsky playbook.

I've been wondering how long it will take shrinks - the charlatans of the world of medicine - to get in on the act.

Oh did he recognise them as being charlatans too, then? He must have been an intelligent and and perceptive man, just like me.

    Agreed.

He's different. He's combative. Which makes good press, regardless of what any one of us watching cares to think about it.

The press was used to a laid-back Obama, and this guy is "in your face".

What more can be said? He is a colossal mistake having lost the Popular Vote by a 2.1% margin and given the presidency by an antiquated Electoral College - an electoral device unused by any other democracy on earth.

And we have to live with it for at least four more years. And, by then, if we still are stoopid enough to vote him back in, another lonngggg four-years.

This Yank is mighty-glad he's living abroad - French politics is ridiculously laughable but at least they don't set one about pulling their hair in confused anger ...

PS: If you read the press about him, he has been behaving in this manner all his life. A psychiatrist would have a field-day attending to him.

I will judge him by his actions concerning policies, not by any drama from him or the press. So far he seems to be trying to keep his campaign promises, we'll see how that goes.

    Bu the up-side is that had he not, then the Clinton would be your POTUS right now? See . . . there's always a silver lining? Anyway, carry on 'reading the press about him'. :roll: :wall;

    Good article.

Is it any wonder that Trump feels the urge to use tonight to stroke his fragile (emotionally immature) ego by throwing a rally in Nuremburg?

Oh, I guess that's Orlando. :salute:

(Maybe he'll fly in PewDiePie to introduce him?)

I wont post it, but I read an article on how much the fact that the Trumps have three residencies that are costing an arm and a leg to all protect simultaneously - Ivanka in New York, DC, and Miami Beach. Not only that, but the offices in Trump Tower he uses, the American taxpayer pays the rent.

Americans wanted a multi-billionaire as PotUS, now they can have fun supporting his high cost-of-living ...

Everyone can now see through Trump's two faced baloney. Small wonder why his approval ratings are so dismally low:

Quinnipiac poll: Trump approval hits new low

President Trump's approval rating has slipped to 38 percent, a new national poll finds.

The Quinnipiac University survey released on Wednesday says that only 38 percent of Americans approve of Trump's job performance, while 55 percent disapprove of the commander in chief. According to Quinnipiac, the 17-point difference in Trump's approval rating is the worst he's fared in a poll since taking office in January.

An earlier survey from the pollster this month registered Trump with 42 percent approval and 51 percent disapproval.

“President Trump’s popularity is sinking like a rock," Tim Malloy, the assistant director of the poll, said in a statement announcing the findings. "He gets slammed on honesty, empathy, level headedness and the ability to unite. And two of his strong points, leadership and intelligence, are sinking to new lows. This is a terrible survey one month in.”

When traitor Bush's numbers went low he started a war. Will Dump do the same???

So, you think the guy who outsmarted all the polls, the pros, the media, the opposition and won the game using only 1/3 the resources is a fool because he's not on your page. Thank god he's not; that is the thinking that has got us here and we must now correct.

He's in damn good company; the world's history is to make fun of outstanding people who have created great advancements and change, and done so for thousands of years- but been harassed and laughed at by the common and not so brilliant populace. They don't like to learn, and they don't like to change- and they especially don't like to admit they are wrong. There are still people that believe the world is flat, but most managed to accept the reality after a couple hundred years. If all our society was wise- we wouldn't be the most dangerous and destructive species on the face of the earth, literally our own worst enemy- would we?

Psychologists occasionally attended a class i used to teach on mental discipline, critical thinking and self-programming. I was amazed at how many failed to understand themselves, and even though holding a degree were still not sure what to think. There is perhaps more mental incompetence in psychology than any other profession, and certainly one that draws his conclusion from the news reports is in that category.

Trump has an extremely strong mind as well as a strong, dominant personality. He knows exactly who he is and what he is doing. None of it is evil, but he does intend for his presidency to mark a turning point in history- and a good one. He is a fast thinker, he's fast acting, and won't waste time on people who can't think or interact effectively. The fact you hate but don't understand him shows the same thinking as those who thought Einstein was a nut, Galileo a heretic (held under house arrest for 30 years as a result) and a thousand more people who changed the world for the better but got he same treatment. Darwin is still being called a looney by some, but is the bedrock of all modern biology now. Crackpots outnumber genius about 10,000 to one.

Kinda stoopid response, given the "guy in question" lost the popular-vote by 2.1% (one of the highest in modern times).

He's your PotUS, not mine ...

Of course, if Hillary had one in the exact reverse situation, that would be just ducky, fair and legitimate... and therein is the rub, the double standard the the lib side must consistently use to justify the biggest whine-out the nation has ever seen. I didn't vote for him (and certainly not for HC) but he is indeed my president- and yours, like it or not. Of course I could be wrong- you may be an illegal immigrant and therefore he is not your president.... but then, this would not be your country.

No, it would have been still "unfair". I am NOT like you, believe me.

And, maybe she would have made an effort to bring Voting Fairness back to America by doing away with the 12th Amendment to the constitution which is antiquated and electorally unfair.

There is only one manner of plebiscite in a True Democracy and it is the Popular Vote.

There is no other - none, nada, rien, niente, zip, nichts, tipota.

Nope, he's YOUR PotUS, not mine ...
