The BLM Movement is a Lie

You’ve got to be being obtuse.

Proportion DOES matter.

There are ~37,000,000 blacks In America. Blacks are responsible for 50% of our total murder or ~4,500 murders. There are 197,000,000 whites in America. Whites are responsible for 45% of our total murder or ~4,000 murders.

Making the likelihood that a black will commit murder at .012%. And making the likelihood that a white will commit murder at .002%.

Meaning a black person is SIX TIMES more likely to murder you than a white person.

 

Murder seems to be the only crime to you.
Like I said before, if you don’t want to lead the country in overall crime stop committing so much crime!!!

 

The logic here, or lack thereof, is astounding. Not to mention the complete abdication of the facts.

First of all, less than 2% of white Americans owned slaves at the HEIGHT of slavery. So if you give a pass for the rest of the black population who aren’t criminals then by that same logic you’d have to give a pass to the non slaveowners.

Second of all, the fact it was LEGAL makes them LESS culpable because they were engaging in a legal, non-criminal institution.

Last, why should we be more concerned about discrimination that hasn’t occurred in half a century than discrimination that occurs today?

 

You can pick any Violent crime you want. You know why? Because blacks are overrepresented in literally EVERY category of violent crime that we keep track of. Whereas not ONE other race is overrepresented in even ONE category of violent crime, much less every single one of them.

 

Please take a statistics class.

Statistically, we expect every population to engage in ANY behavior (cooking bread, eating steak, taking walks, buying dogs, murder, rape, choosing blue pillows, ANY behavior) at a rate which is comparable to their overall population rate.

Meaning we EXPECT that since white people make up 60% of the population then they should commit ~60% of the total murder. We expect that because blacks make up 13% of the total population then they should commit ~13% of the total murder.

But that’s not what we see.

 

I think the reason why some people may consider it trolling is they believe that you are trying to provoke emotionally charged discussion rather than truly seeking an answer. It is like so many other threads started here like why do blacks vote democrat, what has BLM done to make black lives better, etc... It seems like all you get are a bunch of people "whitesplaining" the problem. I could be wrong but my interpretation is there are not a lot of black people answering and they are probably the ones that can give you the most insightful answer.

Have you tried asking black people you know in real life? Friends, co-workers, neighbors etc... In many of these threads you just get a lot of ranting from people that don't look favorably on BLM.

How many black people know their friends or families are drug dealers and violent criminals and do nothing to turn them in?

How many black families have stood up and said discrimination such as affirmative action is wrong?

How many black families directly benefit from the actions of their criminal friends and families and do nothing about it except enjoy?

How many black families know their people are knee deep in violent gangs and do nothing about it?

Let me know when you’ve actually experienced those things. Until then you should probably just stop talking. Because discrimination against whites occurring today is easily demonstrable. Discrimination in place against blacks today however is not.
