some people took an oath to defend the constitution and still take that oath seriously. Some claim to have taken that oath, yet deny what it commands

It seems ironic that the loudest pro gunners never served in the military. Why is that? It would seem if you love guns you would jump at the chance to be in the military. Who has better guns than them? And yet many many never did. Interesting.

 

really? the former president of the NRA was a medal of honor winner. Lots of NRA members and competitive shooters are veterans. Trade school enlistees tend not to be supporters of gun rights but those in the elite services-SEALS, Marine Recon, or in my nephew's case-SF and those guys tend to be pro gun. Nothing is worse than someone who brays about being in the military and yet pisses on the constitution he was supposed to protect

I'm not saying these people were just cowards.....others might say it but not me. LOL

 

anyone who is afraid to allow their neighbors, co workers or fellow citizens to own guns, is a coward. Pure and simple

 

This ivory tower man....say a guy who went to law school and then donned a suit and never took it off is very interesting. Odd that they would express a love of guns yet never volunteer at the place that has the BEST guns.....and pays you to use them!

 

what side do you think most COMBAT veterans come down on when it comes to guns? Bannerrhoid or pro-freedom. I know what the polls say. I have NEVER met a real vet who isn't a politician who is a bannerrhoid

 

funny -people who want to argue law with someone who went to the top law school in the country, never spent a minute in a law school

 

I have met more than a few Vietnam Veterans that were really Anti Gun, however, zero WW-ll or Korean War Veterans that were not Pro- Gun.

Very likely guns will be used to defend against a person or relative that is known to the gun owner. Of course you typically include suicides in whatever argument you dream up.
