The point you're missing here is that Trump is a sleaze bag

When you gain some more experience, you'll learn that almost no one, and certainly not President Trump, can be reduced to a single ugly word like that.

And such a poor vocabulary you have! I'm thankful that we have vulgarity filters on this forum

I really don’t get the logic of that. Why would people saying bad things about a politician, even if they’re unfair and invalid, make you more likely to vote for that politician. Surely you need positive reasons to vote for someone?

What about those who will be adversely affect by the repeal of Obamacare? Seems to me we are only switching affected groups.

Humor is subjective. Liberal comedians appeal to liberal leaning audiences. Just because you do not find it funny does not mean that many others do not.

Would be a more impactful argument if not for Trump's many instances of doing the same.

I figured you would bring her up. Not only is your post a lie but it is irrelevant. You trying to say that trump is as bad as clinton is just ridiculous. When trump went birther he knew his base was racist...really very simple.

Hmmmmm . . . smacks of our Trump bashers proclaiming that he will NEVER stay in the primaries long enough to become a meaningful factor, and then after winning the primaries, will never stay in the contest long enough to particularly bother Hillary and then that after he became president he would inevitably get bored and quit after four months. Brilliant!

So? Obama was OBVIOUSLY a race baiting, race agitating nation-hating radical leftist activist and yet he still won a second term of office; though granted it was all that the Left allied mainstream media could do to drag him across the finish line the second time around.

You're right, we're only switching affected groups. That's because both the L/R aren't serious about a real health care solution that works for everyone. It starts by recognizing there isn't a one-size fits all approach because everyone's health care itself is different! Until this basic concept is understood by our beloved Congressmen and congresswomen, we'll get nothing but garbage. Given that it'll only spread the hurt around, I agree with some of the GOPers who want to do nothing even as I think the ACA is a badly structured law.

Replacing bad with just as bad, is not an answer. The two sides need to get together and agree on a bipartisan path forward, since individually both are lost.

I agree with your last point. I'm pretty convinced at this point that there will be primary challenges to Trump in 2020. John Kasich may very likely be one of them. At this point I wouldn't put it past Rand Paul to challenge him, either.

Absolutely correct. A new healthcare law will only work if it's created on a bipartisan basis. Both sides have some good ideas. Both sides have some bad ideas. Not everyone in the country will be 100% satisfied if the replacement for the ACA ends up being worked out through compromises. But at this point, it's the only thing that will work.

If they don't work out a bipartisan bill, I think single payer will be inevitable. President Trump advocated for single payer for decades. The Democrats want it. The Republicans have one last shot to prevent it from becoming a reality. So far they are doing a piss poor job at that.

Single-payer is a nightmare. If Medicare is struggling to maintain profits covering 1/3rd of our country(senior citizens), what makes them think we can cover the other 2/3rds without either A: Significantly increasing taxes or B: Reducing costs via lesser benefits? Don't do Single-payer, just keep the damn ACA. If you can't fix it, don't touch it. We'll deal with suck over worse suck.

I never wanted single payer. I've opposed it for years. President Trump and the Democrats in Congress want it.

I just think it's inevitable at this pace.

I agree, just keep the ACA. It didn't help me to any degree (I have employer insurance) but it also didn't negatively impact me either. So I really don't care about it one way or another.

If Mr Trump (and humanity) live long enough to fight another election, all the **** about guns and liberty lacks any basis at all. If he wins, the world is done for.
