It is normal. But regardless of it being as you might suggest... what would be the problem with it?

Homosexuality occurs in many species throughout nature so yes, that is normal.

What is abnormal is denying others their right to love the consenting adult of their choice.

the difference is to impose your lifestyle choice upon others.

We have the freedom to walk away from people chanting things that we don't like and we have the freedom to not go into a church

I'm glad that you chose this tactic because you do not want people to have the freedom to walk away from events celebrating the gay lifestyle. You want to force people to have to work an event whch celebrates the gay lifestyle; that is as far away from being Constitutional as it gets.

If it is ever determined that there is some type of "gay gene" aka "born that way" and people would want to abort a child who will be gay, you will see Christians rally against that. Life is precious.

It tends to be the same folks who support killing of babies who also claim that gay-sex is akin to race and want to force their belief upon others. Do you see a pattern of support for perverse behavior?

I'm with you on that. Honoring God and Jesus are choices much like engaging in gay-sex is a choice. If a baker does not wish to honor God then so be it.

    Ironic!

It is only the extremist subset of theists who are opposed to homosexuality that would perceive that as a basis for an abortion and be more likely to have one under those circumstances in spite of the obvious hypocrisy involved.

If you are aware of anyone who is "killing babies" I suggest that you contact the authorities and provide them with the relevant details.

The People do not have a voice when it comes to Constitutional Amendments. They may (or may not) be consulted, but they have no vote.

good luck to you finding a CHRISTIAN who supports abortion.

good luck to you finding a CHRISTIAN who wishes ill upon people who make bad choices in their lives including those who choose gay sex.

    https://www.guttmacher.org/fact-sheet/induced-abortion-united-states

54% of all women who have abortions self identify as CHRISTIANS!

Looks like the FACTS speak for themselves.

As for WHY they have abortions it seems that "bad choices" is not amongst the primary reasons.

    My example was intentionally anecdotal.

The study by the NIH is not anecdotal.

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1446760/
Conclusions. The findings provide strong evidence that sexual minority youths are more likely than their peers to think about and attempt suicide.

Are you actually advocating abortion for gay embryos? Would you advocate abortion for embryos with Down's Syndrome?

Furthermore, are you actually admitting that homosexuals are "born that way"?

Why would I bother to do that? You are set in your beliefs. No amount of scientific evidence will change your mind.

No difference here with religion. Remember people like Kim Davis? What about the folks who want creationism taught in schools or prayer in schools to be brought back? What about all those memes you see about how all the bad things happening are because we "Took god out of the schools". Rubbish. But no less invasive than anything gay folks might do. A person cannot force me to be religious or attend religious events. And nobody can force me to be gay or attend gay pride events. Equal footing.

No difference with religion here. You have the freedom to walk away from a gay person and not to go to a gay event/bar/restaurant/etc.

Nobody is forced to go to a gay pride event. But nobody has the right to expect that they'll never have to see something in public they don't like. I see religious things in public all the time. Every single day. Right now there's a banner over the main street of my small rural town advertising a local church's fundraising event. You don't see me crying about how I'm being subjected to the members of that church's "lifestyle choice". If they were trying to have the fundraiser at my house or if they were forcing me to attend, that would be different. If gay pride events were happening in people's homes without their consent, perhaps you'd have a case to make.

But that's not what is happening.

And this is not a tactic, it's pointing out to you that your statements aren't made in a vacuum. While you yourself may have only been speaking about gay people, the logic you used to do it does not get limited to gay people just because you want it to. If you're going to call being gay a "lifestyle choice", you're going to have to accept that other "lifestyle choices" are also affected by the logic you use to attack it. If you don't want your arguments shot down by pointing out it's flaws, come up with a better argument.

Or even better, find a hobby so you don't have to sit around wasting brain power and screen space hating on people you don't even know or care to know.

I decided to quote your tagline and look into it.

    https://exgaywatch.com/2009/07/narth-author-admits-newly-touted-study-contains-no-new-science/
...Third, that it is peer-reviewed is a sadly risible claim. It appears in Volume I of the Journal of Human Sexuality, a publication produced by NARTH. In other words, NARTH has reviewed its own paper for inclusion in a volume that appears to have been created specifically as a vehicle for NARTH’s views. The “peer review” therefore means next to nothing.

    What is NARTH?

    https://www.truthwinsout.org/narth/
NARTH proclaims to be a secular organization but often supports reparative therapy and participates in ex-gay events conducted by an array of religious organizations including Focus on the Family’ Love Won Out symposium. In many instances, NARTH’ rhetoric is indistinguishable from sectarian organizations.

“We, as citizens, need to articulate God’s intent for human sexuality,”

    'Nuff said.

I'm with you with respect to the "gay pride" parades. If people want to go watch naked men in an aroused state parade down a street then more power to them.

    https://www.lifesitenews.com/blogs/...-covers-her-eyes-as-nude-men-walk-past-during

linky linky above will take you to just a few censored versions of photos. I posted linky linky so we don't have ot hear you claim that it doesn't occur and keep in mind, it's called GAY PRIDE parade so naked aroused men must be part of the message

Where you keep dancing is that you wish to impose your beliefs upon others and with this anti-Constitutional administration, have been able to do just that. Nobody should be forced to work or provide services to an event which celebrates a sexual lifestyle which goes against their religious and moral beliefs.

You missed the critical part of my comment. Here, I'll highlight it for you.

reality? Obviously you know nothing of being Christian. A Christian cannot condone abortion or gay sex.

    Nice strawman argument.

Blaming religious people of today for past sins of others is silly. No one blames gays from the past for sins of gays of today.

I've never said that gays are evil. There is no question that homosexuality is a physiological condition that can and will be treated by scientists and medicine in the future. Sorry if that hurts your feelings but be comforted that there won't be conflict in the future between people of different orientations because there will be no differences.

Yeah, I agree. What will happen when women start using sexual orientation as a condition of their "choice" to continue a pregnancy? That might create a conflict with the gay community and the pro-choice community.

Just more proof of the pudding.

What I am saying is that if it is legal then what is to stop someone from making such a choice, not that I am advocating such a choice.

Doesn't the science say they are born that way? I dunno. I couldn't care less.
