When the press leaks information about currently active military operations that put them in danger, I'm actually okay if they get charged for that. I don't for a second expect the government to be able to operate transparently in every aspect. The need for secrets is a real and understandable necessity.

but it has it’s fallacies by omission, specifically & to the point:

How do you contrast your Wikipedia reference of section 3’s minimal definition of treason & I quote verbatim:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act.

Versus the trials for espionage & treason of Julius & Ethel Rosenberg that ultimately led to their conviction & execution after going all the way to our USSC where the defense argued we never had an armed conflict with the then USSR, no war had been declared to justify a death conviction for spies, etc., etc., etc.
At that time, our government’s argument was (& that Rand Paul has now reiterated), that the USSR was “PERCEIVED” as an enemy in contrast to actually being a war enemy.

My Reference on Rand Paul’s of “PERCEIVED” enemies & that you amused me by deciding it was squat: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/06/23/rand-paul-snowden_n_3486455.html

In 44 years in Western Europe, I never saw any Western European government telling anyone what to do with their monies.

Here's a good one from our glorious people's leaders:
"Ventrell, the State Department spokesman, said on June 24 that the U.S. has “been in touch with Ecuador” and “we’ve made our point clear that, as I said, this is somebody who is wanted on criminal felony charges here in the United States and we’d like him returned to the United States to face justice.”"

Since when does the United States know anything about justice? The United States has hundreds of people in jail with out any charge against them, and intends to keep them there. The US has the world's highest prison population.
And the USA lies about almost everything to justify the killing and maiming of people all over the world.
A nation, as prejudiced, treacherous, backstabbing, and vicious as we have become can't be trusted to deliver genuine justice. We are even working to destroy our Mother nation, Syria, its people and culture and history.

You're really going to attack the source? This isn't wikipedia's words, it's the U.S. CONSTITUTION. That is the source you are questioning. I could have pulled that exact language from any number of .gov or .edu sites or others which just state what the constitution says verbatim. Wiki was just the most convenient.

This was, OBVIOUSLY, during the Cold War, which is OVER now. YES, at that time, they WERE perceived as an enemy, and we DID fight proxy wars against them, such as the Korean war that was occuring at that time. Since your reference is actually just a list from a search engine, let's look at the first thing on that list. Oh, look it's Wikipedia! Well, let's see, wiki says:
Hmm, well, no mention of treason here at all. Apparantly the government didn't think they could get that charge to fly, even in this case.

Look, I'll make it simple for you. Prove that China and/or Russia is, right now (not decades ago), a bona fide Enemy, and you win. But the perception of a single Senator isn't going to do it.

According to one Federal Security Services (FSB) bulletin on their continued debriefing of Snowden, and analysis of the information he has provided Russian intelligence officers, his father, Lonnie Snowden, was an officer in the US Coast Guard during the 11 September 2001 attacks on the United States who had “direct knowledge” of the true events that occurred and whom the real perpetrators were.

Being directly affected by the events of 9/11, this FSB bulletin says, Snowden “self initiated” a multi-year effort to gain access to America’s top secrets, a mission which when recently completed led him to contact various international reporters, including Hastings, whom he believed could be trusted with disseminating the information he had obtained.

Michael Hastings was killed while attempting to reach the safety of the Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles, and as we had reported on in our 20 June report Top US Journalist Attempting To Reach Israeli Consulate Assassinated.

Jim Stone’s investigation noted that the rear portion of Hastings car was blown open and shredded with the rest of the car nicely intact, which runs counter to the “official” story that this vehicle has hit a tree.

That's all well and good, and I don't disagree with some of what you said, but you made the claim that Snowden protected my family when he didn't do a damn thing to protect anyone except himself.

My friend, democracy needs people like him, or you are used as goy!

Your family should not be treated as goy!

That's to him even though he is facing life in jail, or assassination by the secret laws passed by Obama and his scum, and the previous scum, information is leaking out,and nations know what these reprobates have been doing!
He has no protection, but he had the integrity to be loyal to his nation, the information will be difficult now to be used as blackmail by the corporate identities.

These monies go to wherever the socialist government wants instead of where the people who made the money want - very clearly supporting the statement I made that socialist governments excessively control the private money supply. This isn't negotiable - it is a fact. You are welcome to disagree on how effective it is, you are welcome to be ignorant, but you are not welcome to lie.

Many socialist Western European nations require that "licenses" and expensive registration be purchased before owning guns of any or particular types, and that these be renewed - for a dandy fee, of course.

Health care throughout the socialist world is taxpayer-funded (that's the government telling you to pay for everyone else's doctor visits, in case you didn't know). That includes, in most cases, funding for abortions and similar activities that many disagree with.

Socialism: the "rich" pay for the "poor" when the GOVERNMENT FORCES THEM TO DO SO. This could not happen if the government did not order humans in their borders to do whatever the government wanted with their money under the auspices of "general welfare" and other such idiocies.

Or maybe you believe that wealthy people who have worked tenaciously and intelligently - and been rewarded for doing so - are not "humans" at all?

You've indicated that you don't have a single clue what you're talking about.

Please, do some research before you embarrass yourself further.

Free, you're barking up the wrong tree, but still barking!
You'd not know freedom if it bit yer arse.

It's nothing to do with socialism or capitalism, it the tool used to improve ones bigotry, and my friend your a classic case!
Nothing is black and white, unless your a simpleton or bigot.

    You choose

Name just one socialist nation in Europe and you might have a point. What was that you said about having "a single clue"? Last time I checked an atlas, none of the following were anywhere near Europe: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_socialist_countries#Current

The US government controls every day 60 million phone calls in Germany. 60 million! The US government controls every transaction of money within the European Union. In a few years the US government will control every position of every car within the European Union and will be able to murder everyone with a drone. Normally we should close the psychiatric hospital USA. The USA seems to degenerate to a totalitarian state.

Guantanamo is a concentration camp and the only possiblity what to do with a concentration camp is to close it or to destroy it. By the way : What's your own nationality?

That is an interesting conglomeration of meaninglessness. Come back when you can actually say something substantive.

Better yet, try to refute my claims directly. Oh, dearie... I don't think you can.

I found Idiotica for you - it is a massive piece of land bordered on the north by Russia, on the west by the Atlantic Ocean, on the east by the Caspian Sea and Ural mountains, and on the south by the Mediterranean and Black Seas.

I am very happy to have helped you with your geography.
