Nonsense. "We" are idiots that's all. We should like to help Snowden, we could protect Snowden and we really should do it. The reason we are not doing so is to follow cowardly criminal laws in a criminal world where everyone presses everyone to do what's his will. The USA made one of the worst political mistakes when it pressed other nations to do the ugly will of the american government and to sacrifice an american citizen on the altar of their own criminal energy. Has anyone actually seen the public Act which declares war on a non-State such as Al Qaeda? In my opinion, our federal Congress can only declare war on States, otherwise, letters of marque and reprisal are what is specifically enumerated as delegated to our federal Congress.

 

Congress long ago gave Al CIAda et al. the power to carry out marque and reprisal without Congressional control of it all.

 

We should clamor for a letter for each instance from our federal Congress and tell them it is the only new law making they may get a bonus for.

Yes, but, you don't have our federal Constitution and Bill of Rights; even now, some of the Electorate of the United States is insisting on the comity established by Article 4, Section 2 regarding our privileges and immunities; and, that we should have laws regarding "perjury against the People"--thus, if our government can "spy" on us there is no basis for our government to complain when it gets out.
