I am not necessarily a supporter of Hezbollah or Hamas and I wouldn't even put them in the same bag but I will argue when what is said in connection to them is not true. I certainly know they are used as puppets to excuse Israeli aggression and killing and to excuse the US vetoing the world through the UN acting to end this aggression and murder as Israel looks for more land - something which the American Christian Zionists demand and have demanded since Israel was genuinely looking at a two state solution which was at the time supported by most of the people of Israel - though not by Netanyahu and the American Christian Right who since then have worked to make the two states impossible and are now working to make sure 'the Jews' rule all the land which it says in their specially made Bible. All for their magical Armageddon where most Jews die.

After the Iraq-Iran war where Iran suffered grievously, Iran set out to build a buffer to protect them from attack. Lebanon eventually fell victim to your perceived security needs. I made no claim Iran occupied Lebanon.
Iran brought stability for its benefit. It made common cause with the Palestinians who were involved with destabilizing Lebanon in the first place. I'm not suggesting restoration of the Maronite governance, btw.
Iran helped the Palestinians make Israel decide occupying southern Lebanon was a bad idea.
Patronizing nonsense of a Iranian propagandist who can't accept Iran will never sell its Shia theocracy to most Sunnis.

General Soleimani, a hero in life to the vast majority of Iranians, has become an even greater hero in death: millions of people in Tehran today prayed behind Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenie, filling the streets of the capital in all directions as far as the eye could see in crowds never seen before for any occasion anywhere, bidding farewell to this beloved soldier of Iran. And this is on top of huge crowds which had already appeared in other cities where his body had been taken, first though Iraq, and then in Iran. He will be taken tomorrow to his birthplace, Kerman, in southeastern Iran, where he will be buried as his final resting place.

In the meantime, Hezbollah has already stated that responsibility to avenge the death of General Soleimani will not fall just on Iran (even if Iran will carry the main burden and do its part). Nasrollah has promised that Hezbollah will be targeting the American military (not civilians) anywhere they are found in the region. And of course Iraq's parliament has also passed a resolution for US troops to be leave the country, something which gives the resistance all the legal right to treat American soldiers in Iraq as occupying forces subject to being targeted. Similar statements of support and rallies have been held through various countries in the region and beyond. This, despite the fact that everyone who participates in such rallies in places like London or elsewhere in Europe, realizes that they will be subject to a lot of negative scrutiny and harassment from now on.

After General Soleimani has been laid to rest tomorrow, the path set for exacting vengeance and retaliation for the assassination of General Soleimani will begin to reveal itself. The last planes to fly into this region carrying military or political officials from the US here will need to make their trips before then. Otherwise, with this action, Trump has made every US soldier, officer and political representative of America in the region a target. The US won't find a safe place anywhere here, but evicting US forces from Iraq (and Syria) will be the first order of priority, while Iran awaits the opportunity to make sure the 'eye for an eye' principle is observed in response to the assassination of General Soleimani.

so lets see what was going on.

You are responding to me responding to a poster who said
or was it the one wanting Iran nuked? You respond with your usual bait/ personal attack response

and I said - No I cannot find it. You will need to put the proper link in. From what I have seen so far there it was not a direct personal attack on you. Mentioning of you is in a different sentence and it looks like you may have cut something I was interested in whether you had changed what I had said. I do not have time to waste continually answering personal attacks so everyone from now on I will be reporting as this is a serious issue, one we now know where the US assassinated a man who was in Iraq to talk of bringing the situation nearer a resolution - in other words two men acting on a peace mission which both the US and Iraq was aware of, was assassinated along with others - human beings whose lives mean so little the US calls them 'collateral damage' .

Your personal attacks are just to stop proper discussion.
Now I have a life to get on with.

No you don't know the history. Iran send a contingent of revolutionary guards to Lebanon in 1982, in response to Israel's invasion of the country, and helped to establish Hezbollah. Initially, the focus of Hezbollah (and its related organizations) was to rid the country of the forces and groups trying to set up a minority Philangist dictatorship in Lebanon, which saw the US embassy and then US marine compounds leveled in 1983. The US left the region militarily and eventually also took out its other clandestine forces as the CIA station chief in Beirut was killed and various westerners who were seen as working to pave the way for this minority dictatorship were taken hostage (hence, the Iran-contra affair). Overtime, as Lebanon was rid of the western presence, Hezbollah focused its efforts on clearing southern Lebanon from Israeli occupation. The Palestinians weren't part of this equation. Israel was eventually forced to completely withdraw form southern Lebanon in 2000, and it was during this time that Hezbollah began to develop as a serious military group. See
Israeli occupation of Southern Lebanon - Wikipedia

I think you know the basics regarding the rest of the story, including the 2006 war by Israel against Hezbollah. General Soleimani was in Beirut throughout that time next to Nasrollah throughout that war. Since then, despite US and Saudi efforts to disturb the political stability and peace in Lebanon, and occasional demonstrations and other rallies to weaken Hezbollah, the group has increased in strength both politically and militarily.
False nonsense. The Iranian shia cleric, Imam Mousa Sadr, the spiritual leader of the Shia in Lebanon, if anything was accused (falsely) by the Palestinians as working with the Israelis since during the pre-1982 period, the relationship between the Shia in southern Lebanon and the PLO and the Palestinian groups operating from their lands, was poor. In any case, Iran had nothing to do with the activities of the PLO, which by 1982, had openly come out in support of Saddam Hussein in the war against Iran.
Iran has no intention or desire to sell anything, much less a "Shia theocracy", to anyone who isn't interested in buying what Iran has to sell. Iran's main interest is to have good relations with the countries in the region and make sure they are part of the forces to resist US/Israel hegemony in the region. While even the latter is not required by Iran for anyone to have good relations with it, it is ultimately the glue that distinguishes Iran's allies in the "axis of resistance" from those who it has cordial or good relations but aren't part of the axis (e.g., Iraq from 2004-present, although Iraq may be joining the axis of resistance soon).

There are lies, then there are damn lies, coupled with a combination of victim card and projection...here, ignore what you claimed I said, for the fifth time now....http://www.politicalforum.com/index...ssem-suleimani.566364/page-28#post-1071315688

And NO, I was NOT responding to you responding to someone else. I was responding to you directly quoting ME. You sure love the "chase your tail and obfuscate" game. Sadly, for you...people see thru it and know your little game. Only you have difficulty seeing it.

There were no personal attacks except the ones coming from you! I, for one, am putting you on ignore like I said previously. This behavior is quite bizarre!

This is the new Islamist Left speaking.
It's hard for my generation to understand what an Islamist Left even is.
The Left stood for women's rights, gay rights, liberalism, free speech etc..
The Islamist Left supports radical Muslims, sometime obliquely like Corbyn
    and sometimes openly like Alexa.
Imagine in Europe if the Islamists win the battle of hearts and minds over
moderate Muslims, and they can ally with the Islamist Left - we could see
gays hanging from cranes and the seats of government being from the
mosques. And of course, a radioactive cloud or two over Tel Aviv, as our
man on a "peace mission", Suleimani, said he wanted to see.

This 'hero on a peace mission who was tragically cut down' rhetoric is just insane. I can't even begin to wonder what goes on in some vulnerable and damaged minds out there.

check out some of the other threads where it is reported rather than just jumping to the far right usual of bait and personal attack. When you know nothing it is easiest just to be abusive and of course this is the very way the United States
is currently acting in a violent way.

Not looking good for Americans of Iranian descent.

    https://twitter.com/RepBarbaraLee/status/1213944364575031296

other American twitter posts are speaking of this, mentioning fascism coming to the US and urging people to protest.

While Hassan Nasrallah warns not to take revenge on American civilians anywhere.

while the President of the United States who as Jeremy Hunt said is playing chicken and knew before these murders that Iran would have no option but to reply has thrown the US to the gutter by threatening to commit war crimes by attacking cultural sites in Iran if Iran does what the US knew her action would force her to do.

An exhaustive listing would be impossible because there are so many.

And I can tell right now than an attempt or partial listing would not penetrate the dark corners of your cognitive spaces.

On the contrary sir! Free speech is a wonderful thing but wittering on inanely with nothing to say seems like a waste of time and in this case a potential waste of lives. But hey... if it means advancing ones own personal agenda free from the events likely to occur to those out in harms way then peachy! I’m sure that POTUS can tweet his banalities as well as his thoughts and prayers safe and sound from the comfort of his own personal security screen.

Your Hezbollah has done a fantastic job of governing Lebanon. They gave the Lebanese people exactly the brutally oppressive totalitarian rule that they needed, and they are so beloved for it.
May Hezbollah brutally rule over the people of Lebanon for a thousand years, as only homicidal religious lunatics can.

Keep up the good strangleholdy work.

The Palestinians were the reason we invaded in 1982 and the kidnapping of our soldiers was the reason of the 2006 invasion.
But I guess you can pass it as "Satan worshiping".......don't want to burn your circuits you've been thru enough.....

They can hold parades with Nasrollah screwing a rocket for all we care - as long as they keep it quite, which they did since they "won" 2006.
For the record - we are not interested in anything Iran has to sell.
"resisting" is passive, resisting an existing country is very much active and your leadership lies are not working anymore on the American Admin, now they smile back to you while shooting.

He was an Iranian ACE and a military target, I can only guess Trump realized he was headed for conflict and the Iranian weren't about to give up to the sanctions so an armed conflict is a matter of time - so killing Solimani was very practical, it is a point of no return thou...

So Gilos there are reports he was there to speak with the Sauds about de-escalation and that the US was aware of it - which would answer one question people have been asking - how did the US know he was there? You can read a bout those here http://www.politicalforum.com/index...about-soleimani.566418/page-5#post-1071317024

No one doubts that Israel wants this. However you need to be aware that just about the entire world apart from you and the hard right of the US are well unhappy with this destabilising of the entire world and the consequences there of. I find it difficult to think Israel is going to get anything out of it that will be helpful for it. The Armageddon the Christian Zionists want, maybe, but that ends up with most Jews of the world dead. What is going on is madness. Nothing less. No one knows whether the Iranians are going to be able to diffuse things but if they do not I hate to think what you are going to experience. I do think the US has acted in the way Israel does and that may be why you applaud them...but Israel has got away with this because the US has protected her. The US acting like this .....- I thought Israelis cared about saving the planet.

I dont trust these reports, every time an enemy is gunned down your side comes with "reports" he was juuuuust about to have peace, that was exactly what you said about Ahmed Jabari in 2012.
    "destabilising" the ME lol......
    When was it "stable" ?
You mean the "Axis" perhaps, yea we're destabilizing them alright, its one way or the other, no peace for Israel remember ?

They come from the Iranian Parliament

    https://time.com/5759101/iraqi-parliament-vote-for-us-withdrawal/

At the very least they have to be taken as a strong possibility of being correct. As I said it answers the question everyone has been asking as to how the hell the US knew he would be there. I do not know who Ahmed Jabari is, maybe if you gave context I would. However I do know that many Palestinians who have been moving in that direction have been assassinated by Israel. To that effect I did say in another thread that it looks like the US is copying Israeli strategies....

It will not be stable until Israel stops taking land and gives the Palestinians rights and a just solution. Thank you for verifying Israel's place behind this which people have been talking about. What you sow, you reap.
