DU is radio active.

Its not the shells in particular that are the problem.

Once they impact a target, lotsa metal becomes vaporized into dust, which then gets inhaled.

That was part of the project called The American Decline... According to it the military would get shrunken to provide the space the Eurasian powers have been enjoying so far in certain regions like ME, East Mediterranean, South China Sea, Eastern Europe and Caucasus... I don't think the radioactivity of it is much of a problem since my searches say that fiestaware that has UO2 or DU glazing is OK to use. The toxicity of it is a problem but I could not find if it's much worse than lead.

Me? I have no definition of my own. Whoever has his finger on the trigger can call his target anything he likes. The only thing is I believe in fairness so if the shooter fits the description of his own spin he automatically becomes the object of my aim as well. However clear or ambiguous Bush Baby Junior worded the object of his anger, it'll just have to do. He said he was invading because of WMD's then he admitted there were none (and that "no one ever suggested that there were any") and he feigned he was misunderstood when what he really meant was "regime change". So I don't understand your question or why you put it to me.

Enemy tanks don't hang out in fresh water supplies. Tanks sink. Inhaling water kills.

On a scale of 1 to 100 this whole issue is around about the "1" level of concern. Asinine.

DU is dangerous because it is travelling at Mach 4.
Mass = resistance to change in velocity. Which means it won't stop travelling at Mach 4 when it makes contact with your body.

 

No more so than conventional munitions.
