??? Are you here discussing healthcare rights without knowing ANYTHING about patient's rights today? The patient has one or more doctors who offer options and advice. The patient may accept an offered course of treatment or refuse all options. Patients in hospitals may sign themselves out and leave against doctor's advice. There are exceptions, such as cases where the patient can't make healthcare decisions for themselves. How about learning about healthcare before advocating for change?

The laws being written have far reaching affect on women's healthcare. I know there are those who would like to turn their own (usually religious) views into laws against others, even when it damages healthcare in general. I'd also point out that diet, risky behavior, etc. can also cause fetal damage. Is that the next front on how you would choose to impose your views on women? In your view, is a fetus more important than the woman's life? Would you write laws against treating cancer in pregnant women? Would you require the woman's life to be ignored in other serious circumstance?

No, the main problem here is that you think YOU can answer these questions for everyone else, and enforce your answers by the force of government. And, the laws being made have a serious impact on the healthcare of women. Over and over, I've posted articles concerning the damage to women's healthcare.
