No your post doesn't help even one little bit. There are good schools, mediocre schools and bad schools. Wealthy white people have good public schools, charter schools and private schools for their kids, and also have the social capital to help guide their kids.

Generally, public schools are only good in wealthy white neighborhoods. All other public schools are a riverboat gamble as far as education is concerned. Only wealthy white people can afford private schools for their kids. And the best charter schools are filled with the kids of wealthy white people.

About half of Latino kids in California don't graduate from high school. I read recently that Second Generation Latino kids in California don't perform any better academically than do those in Mexico. That is a major problem because those Latino kids will be the majority in California and will control the state. And they are being educated at the same level as oxen. Want fries with your cheeseburger? I bet you sell annuities to senile old women.

I am Liberal. Really; ask anyone. And I vote a straight Dem ticket, while thinking TJ was a schmuck, TR was a gem, and JFK a remarkably sauvé and charming guy, who was a right-thinking guy, when most were not, me included (I was raised in a racist household, but a child at the time, merely parroting my parents), who having been shot in the prime of life, and presidency, is perhaps overly adored.
