And you could also find all the LEFT WING media reports of Saddam USING WMD's on Iranian soldiers in the Iraq/Iran war. Before Bush. And the same left wing media published all the photos of hundreds of thousands of Kurds killed by Saddam's WMD's AGAIN BEFORE Bush was elected.

And Loony Liberal will be a viable and apt description as long as loony liberals choose to forget historical FACTS and rewrite history to cover their constant mistakes.

I would have to agree with most of the Republicans when I say that the issue is not a tax issue. Our government DOES spend too much (however, I am accusing both parties in this). While raising taxes might bring in more, it does nothing without looking at our programs, cutting waste and overhauling the programs to survive in the long term.

We need to put means tests into Medicare, we need to increase the retirement age, and we need to MASSIVELY cut Defense spending. My biggest complaint against the Conservatives is that they only want to cut programs they do not like. They are more than willing to cut Medicare, Medicaid and SS but would not dream about cutting federal money to religious orgs, subsidies to farmers and oil companies or cut money to Defense spending.

All recognized and trusted sources of information assured all that Saddam DID have WMD's. As I said your highly biased left wing media published the stories and photos of the DEAD caused by Saddam's WMD's and intelligence sources also said he had them, and Saddam bragged that he had them and would use them.

And a subsequent Congressional investigation found that the Bush administration did nothing to try to influence the intelligence community to find pseudo facts that would bolster the administrations position.

Most but not all reliable and trusted sources believed Hussein had WMDs in 2002, because he had had them in the 1990s and had not produced sufficient evidence of their destruction. Many of the sources that "assured" this, however, were untrustworthy and unreliable.

By March 2003, UN inspectors had scoured hundreds of sites where the WMD was supposed to be and found nothing. That should have raised flags that maybe the beliefs were not justified.

The Bush administration invaded anyway.

After the war started, evidence of thes supposed masse murders from the 1980s was much less than some suspected.

The evidence was clear. There was no hard evidence of WMD, and UN inspectors had scoured the country and found nothing.

But the desire of the Bush administration to start a war had been made long before.
