As a Gnostic Christian, I do not care what myth they believe or how idiotic it is. I promote the idea that they should internalize their belief to activate their pineal gland and reach their higher minds.

    That is what I preach.

My second reason for posting is to bring Christians and others to a higher moral standard than what Christians now follow. Their literal interpretation of scriptures has corrupted their morality.

Now you are speaking in terms that I can relate to. Being bold in speech is much greater than beating around the bush.. and I admire you for having done so in the above post. That admiration however does not mean that I am a Gnostic Christian, nor does it mean that I accept all that you have stated as true. Some parts of the 'Bible' I do take literally,,, others NOT. If my memory serves me correct, I do believe that Jesus at one time was referred to as "the Great Physician"... well, I suggest that it should have been "the Great Meta-physician". In that regard, I concur with you on the accessing of and activation of or even the enhancement of an already activated Pineal gland. Have a great day Sir.

Glad it made you feel good. Word of caution. don't let that feel good sensation go to extremes. Ya know... like in the new age philosophy "if it makes you feel good then do it"... that philosophy can be construed as giving out a message that is not necessarily 'good' for other people... People advocating that philosophy cannot complain about a rapist assaulting their daughter when the rapist later on says to the Court... it made me feel good so I did it.

On the better side.... James Brown was/is a fabulous performer and that song used to be one of my favorites.

    True, so far.
Yes, warning your children is a good thing. You don't want them
playing on a freeway. Right? You don't want them playing on a freeway.
No, it isn't. Do you have any evidence to support your incorrect claim?
Seriously, do you? I mean besides the fact that you don't. Anything?

No parent I know has threatened their kids with eternal torture. Further, if a parent teches a child not play on the freeway, it's not the actions of the parent that is being guarded against, it's the thousands of vehicles we have no control over.

most parents also don't sacrifice (by brutal killing) one innocent kid to teach a lesson to another less innocent kid. so you would agree then, that your average parent is morally superior to your god.

God has not condemned me...his Followers have, simply because I think differently than them.

I agree it is a 'silly' notion (or more accurately, a horrific notion), yet that's what your god did. sacrificed his innocent kid (by brutal death) for the sins of his other kids.

No He didn't. That's a misconception. God did not sacrifice Jesus. Jesus
    gave himself up voluntarily.

God doesn't have other kids. We've been through that.

No lies. Have you read the Bible. It's very clear that God didn't sacrifice
Jesus. Where have you heard otherwise?

Well....I guess blasphemy. That by the way is the only sin which won't be forgiven:

    Mark 3:
29 "But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation."

    I don't believe in ghosts....holy or otherwise.

See...the problem with that forgiveness is that the folks who are forgiven think events have been erased. That's pure unadulterated bovine excrement. The things happened and the results and consequences can't be erased.

Yup! But don't forget the part where ya have to give 10% of your wages and lots of free help to those who made this all up which is the real reason they made this all up....:)

Yeah...when the primitives were living in caves, schiting on the ground and wiping on their hands 10% of somebody else's labor was important...especially a few hundred of them combined.

I didn't even bother. Someone who claims to have attended seminary college doesn't know what was taught. Or was taught complete BS.
