This coming from the one that wants to eliminate those that don't think like you do. Interesting.

After actually seeing the video, this is a nothingburger.

All that got hurt was Rudy's feelings.

Not at all. I say let them set up their own "autonomous zones". They'll wipe themselves out.

I agree, for whatever reason that yahoo slapped Rudy, he got fired and was processed. To me, that is what is suppose to happen.

If Rudy wants to ham it up, it's his prerogative, but he won't get much sympathy.

I think this person should get the same treatment as the police did in this little incident:

"On June 4, 2020, amid the George Floyd protests in New York state, police officers from the Buffalo Police Department pushed 75-year-old Martin Gugino during a confrontation in Buffalo's Niagara Square, causing him to fall to the ground which left him bleeding from the ear.[1] Gugino was seriously injured, sustaining a brain injury, and was still unable to walk nearly two weeks later.[2][3][4] He was hospitalized for nearly four weeks.[5]

Two Buffalo police officers were charged with felony assault in connection with the incident; they pleaded not guilty.[6] Governor Andrew Cuomo and Senator Chuck Schumer condemned police conduct in the incident.[7] President Donald Trump spread false and unfounded conspiracy theories about Gugino in his response to the incident on Twitter.[8][9][10][11] On February 11, 2021, Erie County district attorney John Flynn announced that a grand jury had dismissed the charges against the officers.[12] "

    Fair is fair, right ?

"The 39-year-old suspect, whose name was not released, was charged with second-degree assault involving a person over age 65, law-enforcement sources said."

Prosecute to the full extent of the law.

After seeing the video, good luck to the prosecutor. He’s going to need it.

Didn't Rudy claim he was punched in the head or something like that? If that's what he said to police, he belongs in cuffs ASAP.

For patting someone on the back while saying something mean? I agree . . . and the fullest extent should be a low-level misdemeanor. Nothing more. Do you support prosecuting Rudy to the fullest extent of the law for lying about the encounter? Surely making false criminal accusations is far worse than patting someone on the back.

Seems NYC Mayor Adams is thinking along the same lines

    https://www.politico.com/news/2022/06/28/giuliani-adams-false-police-report-00042811

Personally, I think Rudy should just apologize for getting in the way and then this whole thing could go away....

    For this

"“I was shoulder-to-shoulder with Rudy inside ShopRite,” said witness Rita Rugova-Johnson. “We’re talking, and all of a sudden an employee came out of nowhere and open-handedly slapped him in the back and said, ‘Hey, what’s up scumbag?’

“[The attacker] was on duty at the time,” Rugova-Johnson added. “The cops arrested him.”

The 39-year-old suspect, whose name was not released, was charged with second-degree assault involving a person over age 65, law-enforcement sources said.

The State Island man had no prior arrests.

Giuliani was campaigning for his son Andrew, who is running for New York governor, and he later told the New York Times the man was angry at him over the Supreme Court ruling that overturned abortion rights."

3rd assault to the full extent.

When the Charge of Assault in the Third Degree Applies
Someone can be charged with third-degree assault when they intentionally inflict injury on another person. The injury needs to be somewhat substantial, but this charge is distinguished from higher tiers in part by the severity of the victim’s injuries: the law distinguishes between “physical injury” and “serious physical injury.”

In addition, a person can be charged with third-degree assault in New York State even if they don’t intend to injure the victim. If someone acts recklessly – that is, knows that an action might result in an injury to someone but does it anyway – they can be charged with assault. Similarly, the law specifically includes criminal negligence with a deadly weapon: where a person behaves without awareness to the risk of injuring someone with the weapon, when a reasonable person would have known the risk and acted differently.
https://crimlawny.com/assault/assau...r of,from recklessness or criminal negligence.

Giuliani can present his evidence of injury in court.

Lol, **** dude, we have the video now. There was no "injury." What the guy did wasn't okay, but no one is actually braindead enough to think there was an injury here, and if the reports about Rudy saying he was punched in the head, etc. are true, then HE is guilty of false reporting. He was patted on the back. ****ing deal.

Poor dude. Hopefully his intensive care and rehabilitation won't be as tough on him as this violent attack. LOL

I’m glad that @Bluesguy is so sensitive to infractions of this nature. That will make a conviction of Dirty Donnie the Seditionist Superspreader Swamp Thing for Seditionist conspiracy and incitement to riot a total lock.
