And then, there’s the poverty rates in the red states which are among the HIGHEST in the country. The education rate is the lowest and typically, they vote red. Why ? That’s what repugs are...hypocrites.

Says the bleeding heart lib who's in denial of CA's homeless crisis? There was NO rebuttal ... look up the word rebuke. My "free standing" observation of democrats callous hypocrisy and complete apathy towards homeless CA constituents wasn't directed at anyone specifically. That's because the entire democratic electorate tacitly supports the inhumane way democratic officials treat their impoverished, and most vulnerable LEGAL residents.

When those red states enact sanctuary laws, and expand medicaid go cover the cost of illegal immigrant health, you get back to me. When the red states supply "municipal ID's" to persons with NO documentation at all, like Rahm Emanuel, so they can defraud welfare, get back to me. When red states sheriffs won't honor ICE detainers ... Shall I go on?

When I was a teen I lived in Simi Valley ... which I didn't realize was a "conservative enclave" until years later. Reagan was Gov. and transitioned to POTUS exactly coincididing with my enlistment. It wasn't until after I was discharged that I realized CA had become a disaster under Jerry Brown, and that I was a "gasp" ... conservative. I left in 1985, and returned only twice. To visit Reagan's library with each of 2 kids. Calexit? Been there done that! via LAX ...

I was raised up north "Gilroy, San Jose area.. Although very democratic area then, "Parent included" the Democrats of that era were NOTHING like this bastardized version we see today! Democrats then were sensible middle of the road and most of all willing to work for a healthy country..

I still get back there two, three times a year generally.

Guess you haven’t heard, illegal immigrants are ineligible for Medicaid. But of course, because Medicaid is a state NOT a federal controlled healthcare financed system, you can’t depend upon repugs in those red states to do the right thing.
There would be no sanctuary city debate if the GOP had any balls and passed immigration reform that kept their donors from hiring illegal immigrants......just like a Trump did....
    Hypocrites ALL.

Best avoid those red states the way I avoid CA. Jerry Brown did in fact expand CA health care to cover illegal immigrants. They have Google wherever it is you're posting from?

    Well to their defense, somewhat!

The 60's altered the young teens in California! Berkeley was pumping Lysergic acid diethylamide by the drum, mescaline, meth tabs, Seconal and of course Mexican dirtweed laced with Paraquat available on demand :)

You don't think that had repercussion on their "todays" adults, their DNA's were forever altered!

Quotes you failed to look at:

"Democratic National Committee deputy chairman and congressman Keith Ellison has passionately and persistently advocated his position that national borders, specifically the southern border, create “an injustice.” ( The Hill.com)

" In fact, a Harvard Harris poll last month states that a striking 36 percent of Democrats support “basically open borders.”

Or this article in Investors Business Daily :
Yes, Democrats Are Now The Party Of Open Borders
    https://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/illegal-immigration-democrats-open-borders/

Dancing around an issue you support to avoid being called for your position is the game here- support it but avoid the responsibility for the consequences.
No sense even discussing California state, where the the dumocrats in control are already trying to give illegals the right to vote in local elections, and not trying to hide it.

Dumocrats. The kind of abuse of a label or name that is your stock in trade; not mine, but I thought perhaps you should see that it can be used by anyone, on anyone....
    Catchy, isn't it?

Compromise is a greatly overrated thing. I want all of your vehicles. No, you say? But I assume you're willing to compromise and give me only half of your vehicles.
I assume the "tough" employment checks in your plan does not cover the current 11 million or so illegals as they would all have "registered provisional immigrant status" and be allowed to "work and travel."

You know, I can't help but appreciate the irony, that in a thread that you started called, "Why Do Repubs Keep Repeating the Open Borders Lie," you have no come back to my response that you ARE in favor of open borders. You want amnesty for millions of illegals. Basically, everyone who is in the country, you feel should stay, and yet, you don't get that is open borders?

    Amusing, I'll grant you that...

I can understand how you reached that conclusion seeing as the facts of the matter rarely make an impression on you.

You forgot the rest of my quote. An oversight on your part I'm sure.

"You want amnesty for millions of illegals. Basically, everyone who is in the country, you feel should stay, and yet, you don't get that is open borders?"

The "facts" that you've stated prove my point.
