We keep repeating it because you never offer any rebuttals worthy of the name.

It's okay. An actual rebuttal would be quite unexpectedly shocking.

That's a ridiculous presumption, and if you'd like to Google the laws and highlight the portions that disprove my assertions feel free. I'd much rather spend time reading the legeslation than reading your denials of their existence, intent and function.

Securing the border doesn't require a bill. It requires the will to do it. The federal government doesn't have the will to do it.

Your claim was that he was entirely on board with it when He clearly was not and employer rules and regulations for this were supposed to among those things like border security that would come later but they never did

Actions and vocal rhetoric by democrats in their total acceptance of illegals in this country and the vast majority of them wanting them to become citizens. That most democrats want no action taken against them and support illegals in their battle to remain in the U.S. Don't forget all the high ranking leaders of the Democratic Party coming out in favor of disbanding ICE, giving illegals free reign and entry into this country.

At the very least the above leaves the impression that Democrats for the most part don't give a hoot who enters this country or how. Hence the open borders, no borders, etc is really easy to conclude from their actions and rhetoric that is exactly what the Democrats stand for, want, etc

This kind of language immediately brands one as a radical or crackpot.

Enhanced security measures requires an enhanced budget to do so. Something the Dems have been willing to agree to in return for immigration reforms favored by a majority of Americans. Something Repubs have steadfastly refused to agree to because of the base's rabid opposition to a pathway to citizenship for those who qualify to be considered. Which is why the reform bill failed to get voted on in the House in 2013.

So Reagan didn't have to sign bills into law. Yeah, I forgot that. I was thinking the president signs bills into law after Congress passes them. My error.

That is when a president is supposed to veto a bill. It's amazing the lengths you'll go to to defend a republican.

Dude...if there actually were laws doing what you claim...you'd be posting links to them.

There aren't and obviously you can't post anything

Then why did he later change his mind and state he thought it was one of his greatest mistakes. It's amazing the things you believe that have no existence in reality.

BS there was a deal on the table for enhanced security for the border in exchange for DACA the Dems wouldn't bite.

The fact that the area where one lives has rampant crime is not sufficient, by itself, to get refuge status or asylum.

People change their minds sometimes. So what? All I said was "Reagan bought into the failure to enforce certain immigration laws, as did every president after him from both sides." And you agreed that he did. Yet that wasn't acceptable to you and you've kept this going now for about 8 posts. Doesn't that seem at all strange to you?

That is a rather gross minimization and dismissal of their situation.

Your statement is over the top. First the immigation problem wasn't ten percent of what it is now in no small part because desire for illicit drug was far less than it is now. And most every thing south of the border wasn't run by Narco terrorists.

Entirely UNRELATED to the issue of whether every president has ignored immigration laws. Your only way of dealing with this is to change the subject as you just tried to do and deny without evidence. You CAN'T stay on the subject and rely on facts and truth because they are against you. Why can't you just say "yup, it's true" instead of repeatedly trying to change the subject?

I don't think most have ignored it, I do think most haven't had sufficient resources to do much about it and in some cases no desire to do anything about it.

No. The jump through hoops tactics simply don't work.

Perhaps they keep repeating the open borders lie because they've been trained to repeat lies?

A test might involve fact checking their other claims.

    :-D
