Noted! You substitute some variety of crackpot religious mysticism for science.

And the question becomes: 'Was there a flood'? If so, then the earth must have had a different climate. The rainbow had to have appeared when the atmosphere changed.

If the earth does expand in leaps and bounds as I suspect, then the catastrophic earthquakes that effected the earth, would have been during a time of expansion.

I'm even starting to wonder if Aristotle might have been right about the size of the earth. According to his measurements the earth was smaller, and it was his measurements that Christopher Columbus used.

As for Sodom and Gomorrah, I think thousands of cities have suffered the same fate, and for the same reason. It was used as an example ...but who in the world pays attention, it's only the Bible. Oh well, I guess we're in for another expansion burst.

Do you subscribe to repeated civilizations knocked back to the stone age via e'quakes?
Mu, Atlantis not in the Mediterranean, Robert E. Howard's Hyborian Age with the great Mediterranean Valley, etc.?

Try tens of millions dying. The gas cloud from the eruption would wipe out pretty much every city in the northern Great Plains.

The only thing I know is that the Russian nobility was heavily into the occult before WWI and the revolution. The European nobility was as well, and they lost all their young men. Seems to have been the era because 50,000 men were being killed each day in that war.

As for prophets, it's a matter of discernment. Many of them are warlocks or witches. ..and they are not always accurate.

I know in Greece there have been loads of saints in the past decades and it doesn't bode well for them. Makes me think of Jonah, and how he was sent to warn the people. This is what the most prominent saint said in the 1990's:

When the war breaks out in Syria, start praying. From there it will go into the Aegean. He said there there will be mass movements of people, (the migrant situation in Europe).

    The US and Britain, (
which he considers one and the same), will take a good look at Germany and think: 'Hey what's this, Hitler is rising again', and they will break it up. Britain will be the first to leave the EU.

Greece will be given an enormous amount of money that will be impossible to pay off, but before they can collect on it, war will break out. There will be a mass starvation in Greece worse than the one in WWII, and the EU won't be able to help because of their own problems.

I believe the war will be in two parts. When Russia attacks a Nato country, a major disaster will happen in the US, and they will pull back all their troops. Not all nations in Europe will be in that war, but every nation that enters the war against Russia will be destroyed.

Moi -Here are some interesting things about past disasters and Atlantis.

The greatest known earthquake in recorded history was Santorini/Thera when it exploded (it's under water now but they watch it very closely). They did uncover much of the civilization and many believe it to be Atlantis. It neighbors Crete and the tidal wave completely destroyed the Minoan civilization.

There are no buried people so they must have left because of earthquakes. The timing is close to the parting of the Black Sea, so that its believed it was caused by the tidal wave when the waters receded. The destruction of the Minoan civilization led to an invasion by the Greek Dorians and eventually to a new civilization.

They said the Minoans knew the depth of the waters all over the world. Was the world smaller? Also they found Minoan DNA throughout Western and Northern Europe. Were they colonies?

It's not the only time were there were major earthquakes ... and or eruptions. Why is the old city of Alexandria under water? And then again the New Testament records a major earthquake when Christ died.

There is an area in Greece called Thessaly that was a sea before Poseidon opened it up and the waters ran out, and when the Bosporus opened up and the Mediterranean ran into the Black Sea, I read that the noise would have been loud enough to be heard in Moscow.

They have found objects that prove the civilization under the Black Sea before the flood was very advanced. The same with Troy. The first city was highly advanced, and then it was covered by mud. After that came a bronze age civilization. The city Homer wrote about in the Trojan wars, was the fifth one over the flooded city.

This is just in the Near and Middle East. In the rest of the world there must have been thousands more that we don't know of. I'm not sure I covered everything you wanted, but I hope I did.

    Dear Jeannette DEAR :blowkiss:

It was called Atlantis, not Mediterraneanis.
Something is out there under water.
BTW Remember Port Royal, Jamaica 1692
There was Lisbon in 1755 but, I don't believe any part went under water. Did some submerge?
    And what of Mu too?
A great expanse of land and civilization where only its' mountain tops remain as Japan.

Surviving as a hunter gatherer doesn't come easy even for a Bronze Age type who may have earned his sustenance via making pottery. No one to buy his pottery. No place to buy food should he sell pottery. Imagine the population collapse.

So what are your plans for the upcoming Massive Earth Crust Displacement event?
I don't think Florida is going to make it. The part of California on the Pacific Plate is going to do fine as the western part of the North American Plate collapses bringing back the great Midwest Sea extending to the Gulf of Mexico. Denver. A mile high. Under water or a small island? We are talking Massive Earth Crust Displacement.

Well I'm optimistic. If the earth grows and the continents pull further apart, the water level will go down... I mean all the empty space has to fill up somehow, so there's no problem for us in Florida... unless of course that volcano across the Atlantic blows and falls into the sea. Then good bye Florida and all the east coast.

But you are right, the big problem is from the Great Lakes down to the Caribbean, since the situation is the same as the Horn of Africa... where it's pulling away from Africa.

Not to frighten you, but there is a 6 or 7 hundred year old Catholic prophecy that said the nation made up of all different people and races will split in two? The prophecy also said it will lose its colonies in the East, so some think it's Britain. But I think in prophecies the US and Britain are considered one and the same...

There are cracks and openings popping up all over the earth. I just read about another large crack in Mexico. If the Earth is stretching, does it mean the San Andreas fault might open up?
I would be worried if I were you... well at least according to this guy:

There will always be a California.
    Of that I am certain.
Why would the Lord create it just to destroy it?
Sorry I am not as confident about man made Florida lands on
water soluble limestone foundation mere feet above the ocean's level.

    You believe Scientists?
    Paid for results.
They do not believe in Massive Earth Crust Displacement events.
Easy enough for them when they never look for the evidence
and just parrot their Gospels of Science where heretics never get
    grant funds again.

I know I am secure in California. At 67' elevation and a mile inland with line of sight to the Pacific Ocean I have deep faith that I will either have an water front property or end up above 67' elevation because the Pacific Plate :worship: uplifts me.
    Be Prepared.

At least we agree about the Great Midwestern Sea forming again. :woot:

I thought it went "God put the rainbow in the sky as a sign, won't be rain it'll be fire next time!"

God's got a weird notion of love. Worst thing you can do is belong to his Chosen people.

You look it up because, I Know - Hint: Genesis 9:13-17

the rainbow is a sign of the promise not to flood the whole world again.
More accurately, "destroy all flesh with the waters."
"the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh." Genesis 9-15
    http://www.mechon-mamre.org/p/pt/pt0109.htm

And the rainbow had nothing to do with gays.
Back then, "gay" meant happy, joyful. The Gay Nineties. (1890's)

Pardon me, but you're mistaken. As usual, the bible tries to have it both ways:

“Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished; But the heavens and the earth, which are new, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men” - (2Pet.3:6,7).

This song was taken from the Bible by a black slave:

God gave Noah the rainbow sign,
No more water, the fire next time.

We are spiritual beings trapped in a physical existence by a petulant demiruge. aka God.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demiurge
We are his play things. His amusement.
Don't seek justice in his universe.
And just when you think you are done, your spirit gets trapped in another physical existence.
The question is, how to escape reincarnation and be Free Again?

To say God smites babies with leukemia or commits any other grievous act, is as irrational as saying that warning someone of the consequences of their actions, is the same as committing the act towards them.

God is Pure Love and Creation, and cannot negate from Himself or it would be an oxymoron... so you're going to have to change your rationale or you're going to have a very miserable 'eternity'.

    Moi, I was thinking, (
and it's not easy believe me), that if I didn't exist then for me the world wouldn't exist. So if no one existed, then the world really wouldn't exist. In other words, this existence is only because of our consciousness. So I find it a little ridiculous to pay so much attention to celestial bodies and space, etc., when they only exist because I exist?

Now to delve into our concept of 'time'... which is a measurement and standardization of our experiences...although in reality it can't be standardized, because it's not the same for everyone. As an example the little tape recorder in our brain runs at a different speed when we're young, then when we're old. To a child a day is an eternity, and they can put so much into it, and learn so much as well. But when one is old, the days pass at a rapid speed...

When the Bible says that God created the world in six days, it would have been His time. In our time, it would be billions of years. But what
about Noah and the flood? According to our time, it happened about 4 thousand years ago. But would the 4 thousand years be the same as what we think of as 4 thousand years...

Confusing isn't it? Makes one's head spin...

On another thread I upload the universe ends upon my death.
    And no one believed me.

I saved the Wonder Woman upload.
I wonder if an avatar will animate?

    Who says 4,000 years ago?
    How did they figure it?
By generations? But, people lived hundreds of years
so that will not compute properly.

You have to think positively. Just imagine how cruel and indifferent a person who has never suffered is compared to those who have experienced suffering and who has seen others suffer. That child with cancer is suffering, and if he dies, he will be in a happier place. His parents suffered with him, and because of it they will have become much more compassionate and loving towards others. They will have grown spiritually.

You're right about the 4 thousand years. Thank you! I was just guessing anyway, I'm not that knowledgeable about the Bible.
