Black Americans shot dead by police are twice as likely to be unarmed as whites

The freaking Dispatcher got the concerned call and they told her: It's a BB gun. But, given the numerous ignorant people in our country the dispatcher was obviously so stupid she couldn't relay that information to the LEO's she was dispatching, leading her to be an unwitting cause of the boy's death.

Which is both angering and could've been avoided. Was he stupid? Yes, hell yes. Should he have died? No.

Tamir Rice was justified. There was no "apparatus" we knew the facts quite quickly. Michael brown had just robbed a convince store and a police officer trying to stop him got into a fight with him and when Brown tried to take his gun he shot the bastard.that's justified. No apparatus there either. LaQuan McDonald was murdered by officer VanDyke who was charged with murder. The system worked very well in thay case.

So outside of lies and bull(*)(*)(*)(*) there isn't some bogeyman getting these people off. It's the justice austen working as it should.

Because the officers went in with incomplete information, they viewed a much more dangerous situation than actually existed. So yeah, the kid was dumb and I put the onus on the officers at maybe 20%, but dispatcher lady basically probably has guilt on her conscious as she should. Her ignorance got a 12 year old killed.

The Forensic evidence shows that Michael Brown died just as he lived stupidly and violently.
He was shot while charging at police officer whom he had violently assaulted only moments before. The notion of the gentle giant, like hands up don't shoot was a lie. I wonder what he could have become had he had any role models beyond pimps, gang bangers and drug dealers, but the ones I feel sorry for are the black men and women who lost their small businesses in the ensuing riots.

There are nearly 12.2 million arrests per year and an average of 400 or so deaths during those arrests. Thats around one police killing in 0.00003 percent of all arrests, and the majority of those killed are white and hispanic.

Meanwhile Chicago alone had black people kill 500 black people in one year.

Carr was shot in the head by another black man DURING A BLM PROTEST in charlotte, and no one gives a ****.

You profess to be able to do math better than I can, but you can't seem to grasp that 400 deaths in over 12 million arrests is statistically insignificant. The VAST majority of those 100% justified.

You also can't seem to grasp that far more black people die to other black people in a number that is orders of magnitude above that caused by police.

Perhaps the number was computed against the less than 200 of those deaths that were black people who died to cops in one year, either way it doesn't matter.

 

In my own opinion there is no discrimination, but being racist is not really in general but individual and purely subjective in nature. As per the article above both race get the same dealings.

 

There are good blacks and there are bad blacks. There are good whites and there are bad whites. And then there is racial profiling, which does occur. Not as bad as the 1950s, but still prevalent.

For Rice... the problem there was that the officer involved had been fired from another police department for emotional instability, but Cleveland went ahead and hired him.

 

The only way you get to that 2-1 figure is by counting certain Hispanics as white. And given whites are 70% of the population and blacks are 13%, that's still a huge disparity.

But again- the list there shows white people who were shooting g uns, waving guns threatening people with guns, and the police still de-escalated the situation. Compared to cases like Tamir Rice and LaQuan McDonald, where they were shot with little or no hesitation.
