    what blood bath? the only places where there are lots of gun deaths are in cities run by anti gun democrat politicians and perpetrated mainly by people who cannot legally own guns and/or are in violation of federal law for possessing a firearm

    The blood bath is in Chicago, Baltimore.. Etc... Blue states. There is no motivation for red states to change.

    you keep spewing that nonsense without any proof. the vast majority of gun deaths that are illegal homicides are perpetrated by people who cannot own firearms. Black males make up about 6% of the population, yet commit over half the murders. and most of them involved in such shootings live in inner cities and are involved in the drug trade

    Total elimination of ownership of all handguns and other weapons excepting single action bolt rifles, shotguns and musketry. For those desiring to arm themselves a full psychological screening and passage of safety training in the use, handling and securing of weapons when not physically in the hands of the owner. It is constitutional, effective, enforceable, passable and necessary but as I mentioned earlier, more people will have to die in greater numbers in more incidents before any of this is remotely possible.

    Well, if what you say is true, eventually there will be no deaths caused by accidental shootings and we won't have to worry about any deaths caused by accidental shootings will we?

    smart people don't worry about something that insignificant statistically when there are so many other things that are even easier to remedy that kill far far more people. Like texting while driving. besides, no real gun banner is really motivated by the extremely rare cases of real accidental gun deaths
