    The reaction against Trump is partly the reaction of the politically elite. The politically elite, for example, are authoritarian. Trump isn't.

    Those here who are rabid Trump supporters list their reasons for loving the man as they show disgust at the man himself. It reminds me of people who loved a certain corporal for telling the French that they would no longer repay debts incurred. Reminds me of those who loved another man for making the trains run on time. It reminds me of those who loved a certain General for betraying his nation and waging war against it helping to cause the deaths of 600k Americans. But what it really tells us about these people is that Trump did what all of them really want to do publicly with no shame or repurcussion: be a complete ******* to anyone and everyone who disagrees with them and get away with it.

    We don’t vote for him because he’s a dick. We vote for him because his policies are beneficial to our country. Moreover he’s not willing to back down and cower like a whooped dog when the democrats bring everything they have at him unlike so many “republicans” before him.

    I disagree. Any constitutional challenges to any of Trump's EOs (and all were challenged), for example, that were struck down by the courts were stopped by Trump...Unlike the authoritarian Biden who still demands federal vaccine mandates and wants to pack SCOTUS.

    Trump believed in The Constitution. The Constitution is basically the consensus of the American people.

    Where is my triple like button? Trump showed us how dirty our government and politicians are/can be and how low they will go to get to their objective with total disregard for laws, rules, the constitution. Many little people have had lives ruined because of the ruthless Democrats...

    Yes I agree.... what I am seeing that is disturbing is people think Trump was an animal because he called a spade a spade through Twitter.... Go try and pull up a Trump mean tweet now... all gone... only if a person had the foresight to do a screen shot... you can't pull up any tweet to fact check any of them... which works real good if you want to lie or misconstrue about what he actually said...

    Yes, he most certainly did turn on the lights. I hope he dosent run again but if he does and it’s between him,
    Kommie, Xoe or another Hillary then I’d have to vote for him.
    Personally, I think he’s a turd. Like the last person on earth I’d want to be stranded on an island with. Putting his personality aside, I think he was a very good potus. I also think he could benefit from a healthy dose of humility with a little kindness sprinkled on top. Add a side dose of shut the F up, sometimes.

    Trump is just a person and was always temporary. The concepts and principles he was supporting are what made him popular- he was actually advocating that we continue to make America a great nation, a proud people, the land of the free and the home of the brave. Sadly- that offends many people today that have the gall to call themselves American, but lack the balls to be Americans.

    I say such people need to haul-ass out of here and go somewhere else. If you aren't willing to help build the nation and improve the quality of life for the next genration- you have nothing this nation needs.
