Actually, you cant find any justification for the Inquisitions in the bible, and can find much that the inquisitions are in direct contradiction of. The inquisitions were a product of the Catholic church.

The first action of the first Caliphate, following Muhammads death was to wage the wars of Apostasy against fellow muslim tribes who stopped paying Zakat to the caliphate, following Muhammads death. Branded an apostate deserving of death, unless they resumed payment to the Islamic rulers. Any Sunni arabs giving any allegiance to Iraq or Syrias government, and refusing to pay Zakat to ISIS are branded an apostate, deserving of death.

That is irrelevant. It is not Islamic to kill people for stopping believing in Islam. People who do that are ignorant of and not following Islam.

Many countries do have the death sentence for treason particularly in times of war which is where this comes from.
