Thank you. However, I disagree with you about full compromise and conformity. It is something that the left can and will do, just as it's something It's something north koreans are doing now.

Here's a group of lefties from California who willingly went full conformity, and they were totally committed to the very end. They had no private property, worked 16 hour days, and willilngly gave everything they owned up, including their lives.

All I've offered is the actual lived experience of voluntary communism (which is already more than any one of the 'communists' known to me, or in this thread), close relation to people who lived under forced communism, the completion of Mao's Little Red Book by the age of 14, and a lifetime of travel and living in a variety of different cultures and political terrain.

I wish people on the forum had the chance to actually enter a fully functioning communist country as my time in the Army afforded me.

Did we fear communism then? Well, I was not allowed to walk into communist Germany in civilian clothes. Had I dared go in wearing a suit and tie, I could be arrested as a spy. I was still a very deluded Democrat at the time but until I actually entered East Germany, i was not sure what to make of communism. I had to enter in full Class A Army dress. Suit and tie but made for the Army.

In college, prior to the Army, the political science teacher happened to have tore out of Russia when the Communists killed his family and took over the family property.

When has America, under any republican, shot and killed your entire family plus your workers hired for the farm, and caused you to flee for your life?

Why are Democrats so friendly to Communism? Because in my opinion their credo is pretty close to Communism as it presently can get given the nature of America. At the moment, they have no chance. But give them hope and change and they might force us all into Communism.

1. EVERY communist revolution was led by a "communist party".
2. EVERY such communist party proclaimed the ideas of Marx.
3. EVERY such communist party declared itself "Marxist" and taught Marxism.
4. EVERY communist knew damned well and talked about Marx's idea of communism.
5. COMMUNISM is known by them as being only what Marx described.

Take a look at the top 25 nations ranked by average income, and tell us how many communist countries you find there. If communism is so great then I'm sure you'd find, after all these years, at least 15 to 20 communist nations on that list, right?
