A lie is an intentionally false statement to a person or group made by another person or group who knows it is not wholly the truth.

Besides youthinking obama can see into the future ...

    Anything else?

    I already did

And that's what he did, he lied. Try again.

You refuted this? I missed it..............

So a Canadian family gets to pay $11,000 in taxes for the opportunity to die from one of the avoidable deaths listed above. And here's a real kick in the arse. In Canada, you can go broke paying for your meds. In B.C, they offer coverage for prescriptions up to a point. I take Sprycel for my Leukemia. Here in the US, it's $12,000 a month for 30 pills. I pay $25 a month though a program offered by the manufacturer. In Canada? You pay up to 4% of your income plus 30% after the deductible. Sprycel is $5,000 a month from a Canadian pharmacy. That means someone needing Sprycel in Canada will pay $18,000 per year for that prescription after the patient satisfies their deductible and 30% copay. And pray you do not need dental work in Canada. YOU pay for it.

So let's recap. A family of four on average earns $74,000 in Canada. Pays $11,000 in HC taxes, possibly another $18,000 if they need Leukemia meds and dental costs. Then the tax rate of 26%. So now we're down to $36,000 or $690 a week before dental bills. $1800 monthly on average for a mortgage based on average family income, food, dental, life.........oh and no tax deduction on the mortgage interest. That family is toast. What a life

Your 'argument' was shot down by my above post that you never responded to^^^^^^^

He did not, broke a promise yes, lie no.

Yes, instead of cherry picking some data I gave you the bigger picture, showing you canadian health care is cheaper and just as good as US health care.

Again you can ignore those facts not going to change anything .

    USA per capita spending:
    United States 8,895$
    Canada 5741$

Wrong. He had full control of what was in that bill. He said he would cover everyone and could have made sure that was in the bill. He lied.

'Yes' what? You responded to nothing I posted. I'll go with 'yes' to that.

So why did Obama lie and leave 30,000,000 uninsured? His plan was no plan at all. Nothing changed except people now pay more and lose their doctor. And the Kos? :roflol:

Keep in mind, many transplant patients don't have the time to wait around for a proper donor, so they will turn to the black market organ transplant industry in 3rd world countries.

You're quite confused, you asked LeeS to show you that. I showed you the GOP replacement plan, thought you'd like to see it.

You need to look at the big picture. The poor in Red States that didn't expand Medicaid will flock over the borders into Blue States and become their problem. The Federal Government will only pay 100% for the first three years, after that the states will need to pony up 10% from their taxpayers OR they'll boost up the patients "cost sharing".

If in fact the title of the thread is correct, it appears the number seeking care in the U.S. is increasing. Since the Canadian Health Care system reimburses/pays their Doctors far less than, IMO, their service is worth, it is likely those U.S. Citizens willing to pay cash and wait lengthy times for an appointment would take advantage of the lower provider fees. But the fees are only lower because the cost of providing the care including operating costs are far lower in Canada. Obamacare lowers reimbursement rates while failing to lower the cost of providing medical care including operating costs, which it actually increases; a formula that simply doesn't work.
