What an incredible retarded argument. No American law will prevent harm to any woman as well. In fact people breech the law all over the world everyday ever since laws were made.

Oh there there now... with your I didnt mean a thing when I wrote "religion of peace"

This concept of blasphemy and the prescribed punishment are both contradictory to the Qur'an and the Prophet's conduct. The Qur'an prescribes restraint, and distancing from the blasphemous persons or situations. The emphasis is on restraint and forgiveness. A study of the following verses should bear this out:

"When ye hear the signs of Allah held in defiance and ridicule, ye are not to sit with them unless they turn to a different theme." [Qur'an 4:140]

"And when they hear vain talk, they turn away therefrom and say: "to us our deeds and to you yours; peace be to you." [Qur'an 28: 55]

"Hold to forgiveness, command what is right; but turn away from the ignorant." [Qur'an 7:199]

"Have patience with what they say, and leaves them with noble (dignity)." [Qur'an 73:10]

"And the servants of Allah . . . are those who walked on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say 'Peace'" [Qur'an 25:63]

"Allah is with those who restrain themselves." [Qur'an 16: 128]

". . . But they uttered blasphemy . . . if they repent, it will be best for them, but if they turn back, Allah will punish them." [
    Qur'an 9:47]

Nonsense, as Mohammad APPROVED of critics of his Abu Afak and Asma B. Marwan being slaughtered - simply for poking fun at him. Can you condemn Mohammad for having critics of his killed?

No, He didn't ... Those are 'made up' stories .. They appear in books/texts whose authenticity is doubtful ... Only Holy Quran has undisputed authenticity (among Muslims) .. And the above quoted verses of the Holy Quran make it clear beyond any doubt that Allah does not tell us to kill/punish blasphemers .. The Quan prescribes restraint, and distancing from the blasphemous persons or situations.

Then why the HELL does Pakistan have anti-blasphemy laws!? Can you condemn your fellow countrymen for having those ridiculous laws?

Can you condemn those Muslims who do actually believe in those 'made up' stories?

I don't really care much for religious beliefs, and I'm not afraid to say so. I think some of the people who claim the are "religious" are hypocrites in most instances, and some of them are downright bad people.

You can believe whatever you want .. But here we were discussing something else ..

    Yes, I do.

Those ridiculous Blasphemy laws were first introduced in the Indian subcontinent by its British colonial rulers in the nineteenth century. Pakistan inherited these laws after it was carved out of British India in 1947.

History doesn't tell us that there were any Blasphemy Laws in the Indian subcontinent (most of which was ruled by Muslims) before the British took control of India.

If you went back in a time machine, and just say did see Mohammad approving of having critics of his killed, would you condemn him for that (just a hypothetical, but I'm trying to find out your sentiment if, repeat if, just say, that those stories were true - but of course they might not be true - this is just a hypothetical, to learn more, and get to the bottom of the issue.)

US is the last country in the World could undertake advocacy of women rights. It has highest rate of violence against women.

    Do you have a link?

I do, BTW. I'm waiting to see your source that states the United States has the "highest rate of violence" against women.

I love this "do you have a link" tactic but its quite old tactic. You need to find a new one. Google it if you are really interested and share with me please.

    Well, the Holy Quran says:

And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds. [21:106]

How can someone who had not been sent except as a mercy approve of having someone killed just for criticizing him ?

How could someone punish blasphemers while simultaneously preaching the above mentioned Quranic verses (regarding blasphemy) and no one from his followers objecting to it (that he was preaching one thing and doing the opposite) ?

“If greatness of purpose, smallness of means, and astonishing results are the three criteria of a human genius, who could dare compare any great man in history with Muhammad?”

Don't forget a lot of countries do NOT keep records of these things and in some countries, violence against women is not considered a big deal. At least women in the US have rights and if they are abused, they can file charges. So what is your problem? If you don't like the United States, then stay out of here. Nobody will be sad.

    - - - Updated - - -

This does not answer my question. More than likely, he was a power hungry megalomaniac and not a "prophet" as at all.

Now you are disturbed by my freedom of speech. You claim that everyone has freedom of speech in US but you are trying to kick me out of US when you dont like my speech. The same situation goes for women too, you claim that women has wider rights in US but you have 55% violence rates against women. Probably the most hypocrite country of the World.

So? An Iranian Islamic cleric toured the USA and specifically was in Orlando Florida at the Muslim center telling Orlando Muslim men to beat their wives, that women are like dogs, murder unfaithful wives and to execute all homosexuals. All this known what he would and even reported before hand on local media and online. Knowing all this, the Obama administration gave him a VISA to come.

So why talk about what Pakistan says? The president has authorized foreign Islamic radical clerics to come here to tell Muslim men in the USA to beat and murder wives and women, and to execute homosexuals. It is NOT just "in the M.E." It is in the USA and out of the White House too.

When are people going to accept we have a radical Islamic president? He has undertaken the overthrowing of the M.E. governments that MOST vehemently opposed radical Sharia law Islam. Our enemy in not at the gate. It is among us. It is in our White House too. Our president effectively is their commander in chief.

You finally agree with me. I'm glad you realize the truth in what I've been telling you.
Not only is it what they call themselves it clearly provides more information and is very accurate.

So there, there now. There is no hate whatsoever. Unless you believe I would act like you when
someone disagrees. That makes sense. You still haven't told me the benefits of hate. Why do you
hate people who disagree with you?

The beliefs of that "religion of peace" is the problem. Their religious views are the culture of Pakistan
    and the plight of women.
Democrats? I look at the women who work for this current president and Mrs. Bill Clinton (the woman who
wouldn't be where she is had her husband not become president). Women don't fare well under them. Oh, they
(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) and moan and wave their hands but they don't practice what they preach.

If you hate America, then there are plenty of other countries you can live in.
