They're refugees and refugees are by definintion fleeing for their lives, Could you stay in one place if someone with a gun was telling you to leave or die?

You already know the answer to that. Hell DNA testing is really needed in the hood if anywhere.

It's called fighting back. An amazing concept to liberals.

What in the seven hells kind of answer is that? I really wanted to find out who was paying them, or at least who he thought was paying them but then you bring up a racist slur, which I guess is the stock conservative answer to everything.

Why is it racist? Because it's true? That what bites liberals hard.

These are people with families who will surely all die if they resist. These people must deal with reality, a concept quite foreign to conservative Rambo wannabes

We can't take care of everybody and we sure as hell can't pay for everybody. But, hey you're welcome to take them into your home. But you won't will you?

I think the original motive was purely political, but that hasn't stopped "entrepreneurs" from profiting from the sad situation.

I read this morning that Bethany Christian Services has 81 of the kids separated from their parents, not in foster homes as reported, and are charging the government $700 per night, per child. They also offer adoption of a Guatemalan child for $50,000. Bethany Christian Services is financially tied to Betsy DeVos. Fifty-six thousand dollars a day is a lot of money, and WAY more than paid to foster parents. HHS was getting $256 per night to keep the kids with the parent.

$775 a night per person is the price quoted for detainment at the border, in a tent, by a private contractor. ICE facilities cost $133 a night.

We are detaining more than 51,000 people a day now, and the average time detained is 44 days. (51K x $700 X 44 days= $1.6 Trillion/ Even if that is a high estimate, it's still outrageously expensive for a "deterrent" that doesn't seem to be working)

True or not it didn't answer the question of have any relevance to it at all I could see. It was nothing but a gratuitous insult.

Please Alex. If we sent in Green Berets with guns and train an insurgency you libs would scream to high heaven. If we invaded for regime change your heads would explode. For the snowflakes there is only one solution. Bring them in and pay for it with other people's money. Are you going to move any of them into your house Alex?

Those that benefit from their migration. It starts with their home government, the government's of the countries they pass through and the NGO's along the way and here in the States that recieve funds based on numbers of migrants served.

It's big business this spontaneous movement of people. Lots of money changes hands to keep up the spontaneity! Organic my ass.

Yep, and these NGO's gin up business by directly supporting the migration at its source!

It's big business this 'organic' and spontaneous migration.

Sometimes it's best not to if its just going to make things worse! It's best left to honest people closer to the actual problem!

You may be right about the ginned up business, but our government determines who we outsource "opportunities" like housing these refugees, and we seem to have chosen some of the most expensive options, over more cost effective means, that also happen to be politically connected to high ranking members of the administration/cabinet.

The government also decided to change their policy to prosecute every person that crossed the border somewhere other than at a "port of entry," despite the fact that it is not illegal for a refugee to cross the border at other places, and surrender themselves to CBP/ICE and ask for asylum. That decision necessitated more housing, and in quick order, thus at a higher price.

This is a self-inflicted wound being treated with the most costly nuclear medicine, when we only needed a band-aid.

Ahhh, so it wasn't a "Deep State" secret where the MSM didn't report it. Thanks!

When I set up after-care for my kids at school, I simply show residence and ID. Makes reuniting us every day very simple. My kids don't just show up for school one day dropped off by a stranger and then I expect to pick them up without proving who the **** I am first. And I'm not ILLEGAL and don't belong here in the first place, either;) No one would have been split up if they had any ability to prove who the heck they are. Not OUR govt's fault. These wonderful countries south of us don't have any sort of identification program? No database keeping track of their own ****ING people? And considering the majority of the kids weren't escorted by their parents and couldn't prove who they are and the parents who are already here can't prove who they are either, that is again, NOT OUR FAULT. Its our stupid problem, because Leftists will NOT stop helping illegals when they're here, through sanctuary cities and fighting against abolishing the anchor baby law. When our former POTUS announces that he really wants to help them all become citizens, no matter how they got here...that just doesn't make for a responsible set of immigration policy.

Everyone on this planet needs to know, we'll happily take who we want and/or NEED, who have the means to legally come here and the finances and education to be self sufficient once they come through. Everyone else just needs to stay away. We aren't a charity case anymore. We have no space for the tired and poor and huddled masses that we don't NEED ANYMORE. This isn't the 1800s. We're not building a country anymore. We're trying to keep it together, already dealing with our own tired and poor who are just too comfortable sucking off the teet. We don't need MORE, sad to say. We're running out of nipples here=)

Considering Democrats don't want any semblance of a manufacturing base to be here anymore, WTF do they expect poor, uneducated people to do? Oh, I get it. They'll all become highly educated and create Apps and CHANGE THE WORLD, as our society moves more and more into a pure consumption society instead of a CREATION society. And once we can't create anything of true value, like Venezuela...it all falls down. And where are we all going to go? Canada? All our new immigrants will just go back to where they came from I guess . But I guess it would be mission accomplished for the Democrats, since it seems all they want to do is punish the U.S. for our successes...since we're not allowed to be better than anyone.
