Did you read the article? It says the change in the law is about dealing with fetuses with severe birth defects. I don't know if the law is a good idea, but its really a stretch to say their intent is to "legalize infanticide." Exodus 20:16

If this law passes all people who have children, love children; should get to Virginia's Governors mansion and protest. This is murder, and, so many want children but can't have them; it is selfish of a mother to kill her child.

It's going to be a very slippery slope between letting newborn infants with medical issues die and letting normal newborn infants die.
I predict if the first is allowed, it will be seamless transition to the second.

 

It does exactly that. The baby is born, made comfortable, and the doctor and mother decide whether to kill the baby or not. Note that the pro choice about women’s health is now invalid as the child having been born is no longer part of the mother’s body. Disgusting.

 

There is a decision made to kill the baby or not. The issue has reached the bottom of the slope.

 

Some things aren't meant to be. Your heart goes out parents who lose a child.

 

It's cruel to keep babies alive who have fatal birth defects. Have some compassion. Women don't carry a fetus for nine months to kill it at the last minute.

 

Down's Syndrome is a fatal defect. Those afflicted only live for 25 years - check that - the life expectancy now is 60 years. Why is that ??

Tell that to the kids at Shriners or St. Jude.

Who is screaming about keeping babies alive ?? Certainly it is not in the US. But in government run healthcare systems care is rationed by delays. The government will refuse to treat them by withholding care.

Under the proposed virgina law any baby can be killed in the womb by the mom for any reason

 

..in the real world some birth defects are so devastating that it's kinder to provide palliative care and let the child go.
