How can America be great again when greatness requires respect, and it's something we will never get in the world as long as our presidents succumb to the neo cons and deep state and bomb and kill others with impunity under false premises.

Americans might be deceived by their medias as to our actions in the world, but not those in other nations...

My grandson had a Saudi friend in college and he said if they were able to, they would kill all Iranians. The only thing I could come up with in my mind, is that taking into account Iran's cultural heritage compared to their own, the Saudis must have an immense envy towards them, so they try to build up their self esteem by resorting to the sword and conquest.

But then again they might not even know about Persia, and are annoyed at the lack of subservience in the Iranians ...which they feel is their due because of Mecca.

    I'm just guessing here.

Know what? That it has oil and chops off heads. What else is there to know?

Oh so the foreign press in Russia is controlled by Putin? No my dear girl, you know damn well they are controlled by the same 6 corporations that control our own media... and it's time Putin kicked them out... which might happen if Washington does anything to stop us from getting some real news from RT and Sputnik instead of the fake news from such as WaPo, CNN and NYTimes.

America also gases people slowly to death, injects them with lethal chemicals and fries them slowly in electric chairs. Frankly a quick, clean death by beheading is by far a more humane option than dying in agony using American methods of execution, in front of a specially invited audience of ghouls. America also has oil

Back when America was still great they use to teach U.S. history in our class rooms.

13 states rebelled and declared their independence from King George and most of the reasons can be found in the Declaration of Independence. The United States would become one of the first "republics" in the world. You do know what a "republic" is ? They use to teach that in our schools back in the day.

The "Shot heard around the world" Many countries around the world would follow the example of 13 colonies in North America. It led to the French Revolution one of the first republics established in Europe.

"All men are created equal" Bowing is showing submission.

    In comes the hand shake.

The military salute is an honor, where one salutes his superior and in respect the superior returns the salute. Soldiers, sailors and Marines who find themselves as prisoners in a stockade or brig loose that honor and are forbidden from saluting their superiors.

In the U.S. Navy manual of naval customs and traditions it spells out that no member of the American naval services or any American citizen shell ever bow to anyone including monarchs (kings, queens) Americans don't bow to the President of the United States why would they bow to a foreigner ?

It's an American thing. America is suppose to be different from all other nations. The world played soccer and America rejected soccer and came up with it's own form of football. Baseball, basketball it's Americana.

Now the Japanese are bowing fanatics. But bowing in Japan isn't showing submission or that you are inferior to the one you are bowing too. It's more like Japan's version of the western world handshake.

Who the **** cares? America has a lot more serious and important things to be embarrassed about, frankly, than worrying about stupid macho posturing.

For the past eight years our enemies and likely future enemies laughed at us.

When our enemies are in awe with America you know America is great again.

Oh so bombing the Syrians on the false premises of a chemical attack, when they have been fighting off American supported terrorists for six years to preserve their country is what you believe makes America great? In other words might makes right?

Well then for heaven's sake if those are our values, then why didn't we support Nazi Germany... or did we just go into the war because of Britain?

One doesn't curtsy while lowering his body so someone can put a medal around their neck.

But tomorrow morning on Capitol Hill we can expect both Sen. Chuck Shumer and corrupt Rep. Maxine Waters calling for a special council to investigate if Trump performed a curtsy and if it was a Russian curtsy.

I'm going to tell you something Apacherat, we can't continue being a killing machine with total disregard towards others without paying for it in the end. We will be humbled, and shortly... and when we do, we will never again be able to recover our super power status.

As for Trump, I had hoped he would have had the power to fight the deep state and all the rest of them. I never expected him to follow the foreign policies of the previous administration. He lost many of his supporters because of it. He promised us differently and now has innocent blood on his hands.

I thought many Americans mostly socialist, CPUSA and many of the trade unions supported Nazi Germany before Comrade Hitler attacked Commrade Stalin in 1941.

Not forgetting IBM, General Motors, Standard Oil, Ford Motor Co., Kodak, Coca Cola, etc. etc.

I'm old schooled, really old schooled. One war was enough for me.

I look at things differently today than back when I was younger.

There are four types of war's; punitive wars, protective wars, wars of pacification and wars of profiteering.

I believe the U.S. military should only be used to fight protective wars and punitive action wars.

A punitive action war (to punish a country for ****ing with America or American citizens) should be "Crush and Bolt" operations. You go in, kick some butts, bloody some noses and then you "bolt" you leave sending a message if you **** with America or American citizens again, we'll be back and next time we'll break your leg. No staying behind with nation building bull ****.

America's involvement in WW ll was a "protective war." At least for the United States it was. France and Great Britain can't say the same. It was France and Great Britain who declared war on Germany.

Japan attacked America at Pearl Harbor and a few days later Germany declared war on America.

Unless you have a government that is not pursuing any bullying agendas, what you are saying would actually get the US involved in more wars than it has already been involved with. Its like a bully running around the school yard, saying I am a peaceful guy, and as long as you let me bully you around, I am not going to hit you. But if you can't take the bullying and throw a stone or something at me, I will come and beat you up. Unless the US completely changes its foreign policy, and moves away from its imperialistic agendas across the globe, moves toward the original conception of the country, heeding George Washington's advice to be weary of excessive foreign entanglements, what you said will ensure that the US will be constantly at war. Which is what the military industrial complex wants, but isn't how America will do either itself or the world any good.

From 1800 to 1934 U.S. Marines have gone ashore and fought 180 wars the vast majority being small wars. The majority of these wars were punitive action wars like the Barbary Pirates Wars, America's the first Korean War in 1871 and the Marquesas War in the South Pacific during 1813. Where as most of the Banana Wars fought from the turn of the century to 1934 were wars of profiteering. These were the wars that Gen. Smedley Butler was referring to when he said "War is a racket."

America made a wrong turn when it came to policies after WW ll. It was born in the Democrat Party, spreading democracy throughout the world with regime changes and nation building. No problem with using the U.S. military for nation building they said. When the radical left the stooges of the Kremlin came with in the Democrat Party during the 60s and 70's many of the Democrat liberal base fled the Democrat Party and were welcomed under the GOP tent. They were neoconservatives aka neo-cons and they brought their nation building policies with them.

The left wants a "Cold War" with Russia ignoring or failing to remember along with a cold war comes all of the hot shooting proxy wars.

The Vietnam War and the Soviet/Afghan War were proxy wars of the Cold Wat.
Both the Vietnam War and the Soviet/Afghan Wars were just two battles fought during the Cold War.

During the first Cold War over 50 proxy wars were fought around the world. -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_proxy_wars#Cold_War_proxy_wars
