Tbh.... that is from 2016, his thing is from 2017.

    That said...
The mining industry in the US is dead.
A tiny uplifting in 2017 is not going to put a dent in this.
Nor can anybody claim a president did this.

This is just the world economy at work.
Supply, demand, cost of labor, technology.

What Trump does, is dragging on to a dead horse.
No oil company wants to drill in Alaskan seas.

The Federal Debt was $19,961,467,137,973.64 when Trump took the oath of office.
The Federal Debt is $19,846,211,384,209.15 today.

The Federal debt has gone DOWN $115,255,753,764.49 since Trump became President.

Now under Obama, over the same period, the federal debt went UP $676,792,012,523.95

That is $792,047,766,288.44 to the good, already!

Truly amazing. I know the same guys that convinced you Hillary was going to win in landslide, have also sold you on their newest lie that Trump is suddenly going to disappear from the Presidency, probably by mid summer! Well, sad to tell you, they are as fact free now iin their fantasies as they were about the elction. Their claims are not true, they never were true. Hillary was always in a very tight neck and neck race and you are not going to suddenly open your eyes this summer and find Trump gone!

But, you may very soon find that in terms of reducing the Federal Debt, that he has outperformed Barack Obama, by a TRILLION DOLLARS!

Yes. There are more coal mining jobs today, than when Trump took office. And yes, when the number is increasing, like a typical right wing thinker, I realize that means there are more.

Here you go. You asked where the new coal mining jobs were, I showed you, and now you are saying: "more jobs are unimportant because I can see the future!"

But, you also thought Hillary was going to win by a landslide and that Trump is going to suddenly disappear from the Presidency, so you have a real disassociative problem when your fantasies diverge from reality. Trump will increase Coal Mining employment, Hillary swore to send Coal Miners to the unemployment line, instead a bunch of coal miners got together and sent HER to the unemployment line. Is this a great country, or what?

US Coal Miners soon to supply power to France?

    FRANCE CHOSE . . . POORLY: Macron’s Nuclear Mistake.

The newly elected French president Emmanuel Macron is busy assembling his cabinet these days, but it looks like he made a misstep in his choice for the country’s new energy minister. Macron tapped the nature documentary filmmaker and prominent green Nicolas Hulot for the position, and overnight shares in the French nuclear company EDF fell by 7 percent. That’s because Hulot, despite his avowed respect for the environment, is a staunch opponent of nuclear power, the zero-emissions energy source on which France relies for roughly three-quarters of its power. . . .

Hulot’s opposition to nuclear comes out of an emerging trend of thinking in France—and in Europe more generally—that holds that nuclear power ought to be phased out as soon as possible and replaced by renewables. Germany, motivated by an irrational fear of the energy source following the 2011 Fukushima disaster, is leading this charge to its own detriment. Berlin hasn’t been able to replace its shuttered nuclear plants with wind and solar, but has instead been forced to increase its reliance on lignite coal...

Germany’s experience hasn’t been enough to phase France’s greens, though, and Hulot’s new position of leadership suggests that Paris is preparing to follow in Berlin’s footsteps.... EDF itself has pointed out that environmentalist plans to replace France’s nuclear fleet with 100 percent renewables by 2050 are “not based on technological realities.”

Uhhh.... Reality is a difficult concept for these folks.

You haven't shown squat just as your idol Trump has not. The "increases" you are showing are in MINING, LOGGING, and COAL MINING. In fact, you have shown nothing but a chart from the St. Louis Fed, no facts, no numbers, NOTHING. On the other hand, I have shown where coal mines are shutting down in record numbers, and yet you want to hang on to your silly dreams of your god Trump doing all things impossible.

I personally voted for an honest person, not some lying coward that has screwed over more people, and wives, then you will ever know in a lifetime. I voted for a veteran with morals, Darrell Castle. You should try voting for a person with morals, and real values, some day.

I saw that figure. And that is just dumb. It probably is not even corrected to seasonable changes.
It is just dumb cause it shows there are like 900 people working more in it than before.

    just 900.

That entire industry has collapsed with 130 million jobs over the course of decades.
That is never going to return.

My political ideology is pretty much aligned with the Constitution Party but if I were have voted for Castle it would have like not voting at all. It would be more like sending a message vote. Which I have done many times during Republican primaries.

If Castle were have ran under the GOP ticket, I would have supported him on day one and contributed to the maximum I'm allowed to his campaign.

    It most certainly is.
Yeah. Then Trump was elected. More, simply isn't less, no matter how badly you wish it to be.

Melania Trump was at his side.
The First Lady received rave reviews from the Saudi press
    [IMG]

Libs assured us that Trump would not be welcome in Muslim countries. So let's recap:

    Trump will never run.
Trump will never win any primaries.
Trump will never win the nomination.
Trump will never win the election.
Trump never get inaugurated (faithless elector fantasy)
Trump will never reduce the Federal Debt.
Trump will never grow coal miner jobs.
Trump will not seat Conservative Judges.
    ==================================>> You are here.
Trump will not finish his first year in office.
    Trump will not be reelected.

At what point do you begin to question your ability to understand what is actually going on?

Trump haven't done a thing to reduce the debt. Giving him the credit is ludicrous.

It's a comparison of the exact same periods of the first year of both Presidencies which normalizes seasonal flows. Your source assumed the first month was simply an aberration, yet it continues and the gulf between the Trumpian performance and the Obama performance at the 4 month mark continues to widen. We will certainly continue to keep an eye on it, but so far, so good!

You are dellusional. There have been zero policy change to reduce the debt in such a number. You can pull wools over your eyes if you want. Overall projection is the debt will increase. Come back in a year, then we'll talk.

No. My figures are irrefutably sourced and perfectly sound.
The comparison is between the two presidencies.

The debt rose by $1,690,444,984,214.20 in Obama's first year and yet, GDP only rose by $365.1B dollars. It was a dreadful performance, yet the whole time the clapping seals kept chanting about how wonderful the next set of economic releases was going to be, and then month after month, economists were "surprised" that the numbers were not better. Why would anyone trust the predictions of an economist with a perpetual look of surprise on his face?

So, this time I wholly expect the same folks to predict constant gloom and quite frankly I expect Trump's first two years to be fairly rocky, I expect a Stock bear market and a credit bubble pop in his first two years, but then, very solid growth by his 3rd year.

But, even with that, I expect Trump's first year numbers to be the equivalent of a high-school principals paddling to the backside of Obama's numbers, Obama's economic program was a complete farce, and I expect the comparison to bear that out.

Obama inherited a failing economy thanks to 8 years of the Bush train wreck.

Trump inherited a booming economy from Obama.

    Logical explanation. Case closed.

You seem awfully eager to explain why Obama will lose the comparison, shouldn't you at least wait a year? But I am happy that you are so confident that economic conditions will be much better under Trump. Obama seemed peeved that he started under less than ideal conditions, then he threw his one set of ideas at it, that failed, and he spent the rest of his two terms nursing a grudge, blaming others and making excuses. A Presidency truly is the opportunity of a lifetime and a terrible thing to waste.

Has the leftness finally figured out the truth that Trump didn't bow to the Saudi King? Or are they still running around and denying reality?

Trump doesn’t bow to Saudi King Salman, joins sword dance, cuts deals on first day abroad

President Trump did not bow to Saudi King Salman but later grasped a saber and joined in a traditional sword dance, as his first trip abroad was hailed as a “turning point” in the U.S.-Saudi relationship.

Despite criticism that his campaign rhetoric had alienated America’s Muslim allies, Mr. Trump received a hero’s welcome in Saudi Arabia at the start of a eight-day trip to the Middle East and Europe.

He was greeted on the tarmac by King Salman, an honor that was denied President Obama.

Mr. Trump also greeted the king with a hand shake rather than the deep bow bestowed by Mr. Obama when he visited Saudi Arabia in 2009.......snip~

Any of our lefty members that are having trouble with reality on this issue. Needs to be called out and put on display. Don't hesitate to put them on display.

Nobody bows to the Saudi king, nor do they kiss him or hold hands with him. Its not proper protocol. The protocol officer at the WH should know that.
