    Recent DNA evidence has revealed an interesting fact about European Jews. Turns out that they can all be traced back to four German women. Apparently, about 2000 years ago, a group of Jewish men migrated to central Europe. Although the Romans may have forced them to migrate. From that small group of men. And their four wives, all the European Jews sprang forth. There are a lot of non DNA clues. For instance, their language, Yiddish, is a Germanic language, but they use the Hebrew alphabet. They remained a tight knit community, only reproducing within their group. This has a lot to do with the fact that European Jews tend to have so many genetic diseases. These were not the Jews of the bible, and their claim to the land in Palestine does not hold up under historic evidence.

    Interesting that they got the DNA of all Jews. The results of my DNA changes nearly constantly. All of that can be taken with a grain of salt.

    When I was born there was a fairly decent size country on the world map called Palestine and nothing called Israel.It is hard to get over having your country taken away from you and given to others.

    Welp... time to run 'em off into the ocean I guess.

    Actually, I have another idea... kill two birds with one stone... relocate Israelis to the U.S. southern border. This way we can finally get our wall, plus Muslims can focus on murdering each other exclusively.

    Arabs backed the wrong side during WWII and then Israel has kicked their butts in every War there since. To the victors goes the spoils...

    Yes, but which province? It wouldn't happen to be the Roman province of "Judea" that after the Bar Kokhba revolt was renamed "Syria PALESTINA" was it?

    Yes? So they descend from men exiled from their homeland by the Roman Empire........... I fail to see how that cedes a claim to their homeland.

    Israeli military victories over all of their neighbors says that they DO have a right to that land. In the end, military force is what determines who owns territory. Everything else is just paper and words. Hard power vs soft power.

    They have the same right to it as the Arabs living there. The genetics of both the Israeli Arabs and Israeli Jews are almost identical.

    'rights' have nothing to do with this. This was all about political and military opportunism. Israel won some wars and grabbed a bunch of land beyond the UN sanctioned borders.

    The Left has a long tradition of Anti-Semitism. It started during the Cold War when Israel was in conflict with USSR. About 1952.

    Recently The Left moved to other priorities, but many Democrats still dislike Israel.

    Socialism had many positive aspects. Sadly many Socialist ideologies have severe excesses. Attacks on Israel is an example.

    yes in the same sense as the United States moved into territory after territory, shoved tribes full of inhabitants onto reservations in the name of civilization, Christianity and democracy. Some really nice modern highways, cities and skyscrapers have certainly popped up.

    Isn't the whole point that they were in Palestine *before* the diaspora? If they've gone to Germany after being kicked out of the Roman Empire (which Palestine was a part of), it has basically no relevance on their link to Palestine. They've been all around the world afterwards anyways.
