99% didn't even read the detail of the bill. the Bill clearly indicate, for the extradition to work, it has to have same law in HK, + its case by case, meaning, a independent judge will decide to extradited or not. it started when a guy kill his pregnant GF in taiwan, but run back to HK. The murder goes free cause there aren't extradition bill between HK and taiwan. HK can't charge the guy for murder cause the crime was commited in taiwan.

economy is mainly due to fact the company move to mainland, HK traditional was gateway to china, but after WTO, most company move to shanhai and other place in china.

 

So truth. But the PRC and mainland Chinese don't understand it. They think the Hong Kongers are unpatriots.

 

if some american wave russia/china flag in dc, you think majority of american gonna say they are patriots lol.
the HK protester screw up, rather continue the peaceful protest, it become violent which many HKonger against it, cause it affect their daily live and cities economy. if they wave HK flag, they might actually get support from mainland chinese, which is really what CCP afraid of. but they play right into CCP hands, and china just need to wait and watch them destroy themself along with the city.

 

People are afraid the PRC will use this Bill as excuse to extradite anyone who don't tow the line of the party in any circumstances. Especially when people say or express something the PRC doesn't like. People just don't trust the PRC.

China is an evil militaristic totalitarian state. The rest of the world has become very afraid of China, and will isolate China economically if there is a bloodbath in Hong Kong.

That would be a smart move. The West should never have started financing the Chinese war machine and should stop doing it now. Better late than too late.

 

The bill will eventually give the PRC open license to do that,right now PRC can only do it secretly and in restrain, the bill will make HK like mainland China in the future. Which HKers are afraid of.

 

china is not gonna intervene in HK, they gonna watch these naive protester destroy them self and the cities, and get all the company move to other place in china. They already said they gonna change Law in Shenzhen for better business environment, which is next to HK. rather getting support from other HKonger and mainland chinese the protester alienated them.

 

maybe, but so far i haven't seen mainland directly change HK law or anything like that. The HK will become mainland in 2047 anyway, ppl live there should just migrant to other place. China is not gonna give in to their demand of free election. you keep saying the Hkers don't read the bill, but what's the point when the mainland polices interpret the bill anyway they want and violate the laws? What's the point to read it, when you know it most likely to be violated later.

ok which law did mainland change it since 97? i dont know if they gonna change in the future or not, but i'm looking at the past change in order to know if they will change it. why would they need to change it, if the contract expire in 2047 anyway. its the same reason they never invade HK, time is on their side.
